My brother gave me his steering remote control from his 4x2 montero sport. He replaced his HU by a DVD unit.

I tried the steering remote control to my 4x4 GLS montero sport. We have the same stock head unit but it did not work in my unit. Need help on how to set it up.. Sayang kasi yung steering remote control.

Send it to winterpine, better yet try to locate and call wintersnow(mother company). You're problem is that even if the headunit is the same, it actually has different outs in the back. They had to convert the new units so that there will be an RC out for the steering wheel remote, then they have to program it, its not simply installing it and it will work.
