Happy New Year to all!!!

By the way, I'm looking for a good low-pitch horn to replace the small stock horn supplied in Montero Sports (I feel the current horn is better suited for small cars). Preferably in Ortigas area. Someone already suggested an auto parts supplier/installer in Ortigas Home Depot. Also someone suggested BOSCH.

Would appreciate your suggestions where I can have one installed, and which specific horn is loud and low-pitch (manly beep).

sir may na-discover ako kung saan pwede panggalingan yung amoy usok..

check mo yung takip ng srcew ng spare tire.. yung 2 na black plastic. lagyan mo ng magandang pang seal like (teflon tape o rubber tape) yung thread para sealed.. parang nawala yung amoy usok sa akin.. (parang nawala lang hehe)

kapag inalis kasi yung takip na plastic butas talaga kita mo na ang ilalim at wala pa 2feet ang layo nito sa tailpipe

may jacket ako lagi nakasampay sa 3rd row seat, amoy talaga usok na kerosene na hindi ko maintindihan pati yung mga extra damit na nasa bag nangangamoy na din...

parang yung california scent na car freshener dala mo yung amoy pag bumaba ka na hehehe

Also, i notice the flooring where the clips of the stepboard and the siding/walling plastic can be seen protruding from the underchasis floor. Try a highpresure water host under it and the water enters the cabin. I will posrt the pictures next time.

di updated ung nasa model line up ng montero sa mitsu website. phased out na ung GLS model eh.

dumaan ngapala ako sa Diamond Motors Q Ave kanina. and got a look at a 2010 GLS 4x2 monty.

eto ang bago:

1. Standard tailgate cladding all throughout the model range
2. Tailgate locks integrated through the Alarm (because tailgate cladding blocked the keyfob)
3. Height adjustment on driver seat is standard. finally!
4. New model of Information System. and is also available in the 2.5 GLS 4X2.
5. New Colors. I specifically liked the San Mateo Blue.

afaik, GLS 4x4 and GLS SE's have rear discs.

I own a 2009 4x4 gls m/t. My Monty has some 15000 on the odo and I have been a very satisfied owner but somehow I wish to upgrade my rear trailing drum brake to disc brake, would you know if casa is doing this kind of upgrade? Also, can we install a manual height adjuster on the driver seat of our Monty?

Also, i notice the flooring where the clips of the stepboard and the siding/walling plastic can be seen protruding from the underchasis floor. Try a high pressure water host under it and the water enters the cabin. I will post the pictures next time.

Pambihira naman yan oo another quality issue! Pwede kaya i-Vulca Seal or other forms of water sealant yan? This is disturbing lalo na if you got some sound system wiring beneath the carpet.

I'm guessing that the water can seep through the seat mounts bolted through the floor, tama po ba?

My cousin just got her 2010 Strada 4x4 Gls Sport and me likey the driver's seat with manual height adjustment so that might be a worthwhile project for me in the coming months :evillaugh:

Pambihira naman yan oo another quality issue! Pwede kaya i-Vulca Seal or other forms of water sealant yan? This is disturbing lalo na if you got some sound system wiring beneath the carpet.

Welcome to the Montero thread. I don't have much info about their lowest downpayment but i suggest tawag-tawag ka lang and compare.

Oo nga eh, the Strada is one tough truck. I saw a proof-picture here of a Strada being used to cross a river, beyond its fording depth, upstream! Talk about water tightness.

Right, so technically same platforms should perform similarly. Let's wait for those pics from easyman3.

Sir, I think the trick when getting your loan is deciding on the institution that can give you the lowest monthly interest rate. Kasi meron nga mababa ang initial cash out but results in high monthly payments which is what really matters collectively.

Canvass ka thoroughly ng institutions and have them compete for the lowest rate. Don't rush your car purchase

kita talaga ang mga clips sa ilalim ng flooring kaya pinalagyan ko ng undercoat yung paikot ng clip, brushed lang 3 coatings para sure

sa ibang mga vans ganyan din kita mga clips, hindi kagaya ng ibang sedan na halos wala ka makikitang clips sa ilalim. pero sa lancer pizza pie ko dati pumapasok ang usok doon sa may vent ng pressure (ano ba tawag dun?) flap lang sya na bukas sara pag nagsasara ng doors, located sa likod nakatago sa bumper..

teka meron din kaya ang MS natin nito? (yung vent para sa pressure) saan kaya located?

Ang bagong color is ung blue, di ko nagustuhan parang pang girl ang appeal sakin, LOL. Hirap din pumili ng colors, mas lalo na kung white, mica red at black ang papagpilian, pero at the end black ang nagustuhan namin..
