Anyway if i may just ask. Is your monitor a totally different head unit or is it just a monitor, because i noticed from the 2nd pic that it is quite slim. Also i noticed that you still have the 1 din HU installed. Although i cant tell from my view point if it is the stock or a different model jvc unit. Thanks.

Regarding rear spoilers and mats, Winterpine has them. I just came from Winterpine yesterday and saw that they already have the OEM-look rear spoiler (i.e. no brake light on the spoiler). Cost is Php6,500 with paint. You just need to bring your car to the shop so that they can match the paint, and then come back after three days for installation already.

As for the mats, they have original 3M mats that they can custom-cut to fit your vehicle. Did that for my Monty's 3rd row. A couple of people who were there at the last Fort EB saw how it was done.

Kapitan_Dukot, how much is the complete custom cut set of their mats? TIA

As far as I know you can't disable the vibration alarm via the remote transmitter. You can, however, disable this feature using a series of steps described in the manual. Also, if you backread a little, someone posted a copy of the procedures on this thread. I think it was Sir Fermontalban, and the procedures included steps for enabling/disabling a handful of other features.

Tsk! Tsk! That is the bad features of this alarm because from my previous car which I installed viper alarm I can do silent arming and disarming through remote. Autopage can do that also. Tsk! tsk! kakahiya sa neighbor kapag nauwi nang late in the evening.

may i know what brand ng lcd monitor na gamit mo. i've been eyeing for this project long time ago. now i already have the center dash console but could not find the right lcd monitor.

what is your video source? i am going to use western digital tv media player as it requires 12v power.

ahh ...thanks Sir i like your ride im on stage of planning my sounds ....and one thing im still waiting at Goldrich a center console that will fit a 2Din HU as the sales lady told me that his Boss is goin to Thailand ...So wait until the availabilty of the said item ... i saw two guys inside winterpine im been with my two kids ..but anyway sir looking that one of this days we will meet or join in EB or GT

if goldrich will carry the center console i'm sure it will be cheap. got mine from a mitsubishi casa in bangkok and the price is cheap (way cheaper than our casa's price)

sir toots_s the monitor is just a monitor. it has one video in and 1 auxillary the jvc head unit i replaced with a similar looking jvc head unit that plays dvd. wala nga lang siya bluetooth... oh well cant have it all :p

sir cenedgan you mean aside from K&N air filter,do we really need to buy this cleaning/oil set also?????????

sir, its only your option, you can clean the filter with low pressure air and i thick water can do as well. the oil is important every cleaning kasi this will help to maximized the filtering power of the filter.

sir revD, unfortunately the steering remote does not work on the new head unit. i called up the jvc service in the philippines and they told me that all successful pairings of the steering remote with other head units are not guaranteed? they actually dont advice the modification.

anyway they told me that theyre working on a universal module to be able to pair up the steering wheel remote with other jvc units (primary reason why the dvd player i bought is jvc). so i guess ill just have to wait

i bought a new jvc dvd head unit as a video source. as for an alternate source im still trying to decide between a tv tuner and wd media player

center console is from migs as for the monitor, medyo lucky lang kasi friend ko owner ng union. so asked if i can tuck in the monitor with one of their orders :p its oem

thanks for the reply. that's what i thought so. JVC dvd player but no blutooth and steering remote. hanap ulit. I love everything in the stock hu plus dvd playback sana with 5.1 surround.

JVC AVX44 sana pero no radio tuner? anyone can confirm this?

bad bad news. i lost one of my car keys! can't find it anywhere. driver can't find it, two days na.

what should I do? order now a replacement? make a duplicate?

Sir teejay, thank you for the kind reply. Ah i see, also based from your other post i knew it. Thats the oem monitor from other country/countires. Lucky that you have your hook ups. No wonder it looks slim and all. Thats a very good move if i may say. Up for you sir.
