sobra naman mahal non. sino naman po ang reliable source nyo na sirain ang tiptronic at ganon price nya at hindi pa pwede magawa. meron na po ba kayo personnal na kilala na nasira? hirap naman kasi kun nadinig lang kun saan saan. sir mabuti pa pala fortuner D4D issues lang at least nagagawa..

Mic_21 your from Las Pinas...I'm from L.P. too...We got our MS 4x2 31Mar. Unluckily I was already out of country by the time the unit was delivered. I've been following up blogs from this site as I was contemplating on getting a Fortuner 2009 but nevertheless changed my mind when MS 4x2 came out. I plan to attend one of your EB any time end of April or whenever there's one when I get back home. Looks like a good opportunity to swap ideas and camaraderie among proud MS owners....BTW , I got a savannah white unit... Cheers to all

Di naman yan basta masisira if you just maintain it and not abuse it when driving. It is a traditional automatic but with the manual override and unlike the untested CVT (found in the Outlander 2.4).

If you use common sense, a vehicle's transmission is unlikely to cost 1/3 the price of the vehicle.

after getting our MS yesterday
went straight to batanggas
and comming from a santa fe
i found the ride a bit hard and malakas sa diesel
tipid driving and ang lumabas lang dun sa onboard comp. nya 13.4km/l
parang ang lakas kasi top speed ko 80 tapos 2k shifting naman
highway pa yun
titipid kaya sha if i swith to full synthetic oil

woist mamar andito ka pala!! hehe

Hi Guys, I'd like to join the group po sana kung ok lang....i've been following this thread since a couple of weeks ago, maraming salamat po, I learned a lot...

Got my MS 4x2 (Red) a couple of weeks back, FC ko pure city driving 6.8Km/L, then last weekend nag out of town kami, got 9.6Km/L (Highway), pero fully loaded po yung MS, 4 adults, 2 kids and maraming gamit....

Talagang good decision po na MS kinuha ko instead of Fortuner.

So far minor modifications lang po nagawa ko, mostly interior...
1. Changed to Bosch Horn
2. Added Turbo timer
3. Leather seats
4. Additional tweeters and subs
5. Back-up camera
6. Head rests with monitor

Then change ko sana HU ko with JVC DVD na may 7" monitor na lumalabas....kaso bumabangga dun sa AC controls at pangit tingnan kung i extend palabas... so I ended up using na lang separate units sa DVD/MP3/TV/USB/IPod (connection)player tsaka yung monitor....yung monitor na nilagay acts as my rearview mirror na rin at yun na rin yung monitor pag nag ba-back-up ako...

Sorry po di ako makaka join sa mga EB sched niyo...I'm from bacolod, dunno how many MS owners from bacolod are here, pero malamang meron but naka read only mode lang sa ngayon :-) sana po maka join na rin sila dito sa forum. God bless.

a happy owner of a brand new red 4x2 montero. twice the blessings because we got the montero yesterday and my sister passed the bar exam!

I'll take some pag balik ko ng bacolod and send it through later. By the way, I saw some HU with 5" touch screen monitor, pero 1 din lang siya....yung extra size ng monitor bale nasa baba so i'm thinking na baka pupuede yun sa MS.
