i'm getting my 4x2 MS this coming saturday and will drive her to leyte. but before bringing her home i would like to check the shops that sells 20" rims/tires. can you pls recommend which shops to visit? sa mga naka 20" what is the recommended rim and tire profile? magkano kaya ang going rate ng average 20" chrome rims and tires?

just got my leather seat cover at seatmate. I noticed na ginupit nila ung leather seat cover dun sa part ng 2nd row backrest lever adjustment. Of course, i was surprised because i was expecting that the hole for the 2nd row lever would be stitched. Pero sabi nila ganun daw talaga ginagawa nila sa MS for better fitting, and ok naman ung fit and the holes from the cut were concealed. Parang alam naman nila ung ginagawa nila, d naman mukhang first time o nagkamali lang. Just want to know dun sa mga friends natin dito na nagpagawa ng seat cover nila sa seatmate kung ganun din ung procedure na ginawa sa monty nila. First time ko lang kc nakakita na ung seatcover eh tinabasan o ginupit. Pero maganda naman ung kinalabasan. TIA.

I have my monty for almost a month now and had it carwashed 5 times. I noticed na ung loob ng windshield ko na tinted, has some scratches. Although, it's not a big issue pero i feel bad whenever i look at it since bago ung monty. Sa mga carwash kc minsan hindi na nachecheck kung malinis ba ung ginagamit nilang pamunas especially sa mga windows. SIRS, ADVICE NAMAN PO FOR BEST OPTION SA SCRATCH SA TINT. Worth it kaya kung ipaalis ko and ipatint ulit. Baka kc lalong magasgas. Puede ba dito sir ung mga paint scratch remover kahit tinted glass ung pagagamitan? I was also thinking na baka naman madali pa matanggal ung tint kc wala pang 1 month so baka hindi magiging problem kung ipatanggal ko and ipatint ulit. Tama kaya sir?

Sirs, question lang po. I've been thinking of trading in my car and getting a new one. I'm looking at the MS, Fortuner and Santa Fe. How's the fuel consumption of the MS 4x4 and 4x2 models? I was concerned to find out that the MS is considerably heavier than the Fortuner and Santa Fe. I drive everyday from Bulacan to Makati so my gas bills tend to pile up so fuel economy is more of an issue to me than most. Thanks in advance.

uh oh...! same issue like the Outlander perhaps... nonetheless, the outie owners were able to secure replacement window brackets and the tints have been changed for free. it took time for them since the part came from Japan. But since the MS is coming from Thailand, it SHOULD be resolved at a faster rate. anyone else having the same issue? So far, wala naman sa Strada where i presume door and window components are similar in design...

i strongly believe this is a warranty claim. please consult with your SA immediately.

hi ian..if i am correct, sergi mentioned the windshield and not the door glass. so it shouldnt be an warranty issue from what i gathered from his story, its on the people who cleaned his car at the car wash.

sir sergi...is it that noticeable? As far as I know, if you use 3m tint, it should be scratch resistant unless there was a small pebble or something that literally scratched the tint. If its small, i suggest you just live with it for the meantime, your tint is quite new and replacing them might just be too costly.

sir front windshield? papalitan mo na lalo't noticeable from your view, pero sa labas i bet di halata yan. madali lang naman palitan compared to our rear windshield that has a defogger na medyo delikado.

if it comes from car wash boys, you can request them not to include the inner windshield sa patuyuan, ikaw na lang kamo. also migs has swirls on his headlight and it also came from carwash boys' drying towel

the 3.2 4X4 averages 7.5 kms/li city driving, and can to go up from 8 if you use it at NLEX. my guess for the 2.5 4X2? might be in the 8 kms/li and up in the city. 9 and up at high speed.

bakit pag pinatay ko yung engine then bumaba ako ng sasakyan ng hindi ko nilolock, pag after one minute binuksan ko ulit yung doors tumutunog yung alarm? is there any way para ma-adjust ito? thanks po.

nga pala... nag pa full tank ako kanina... sa computation ko, lumalabas na 7.32k/l ako... Pure city driving... Route ko most of the time is bahay and office lang... (hatid si misis sa office sa ortigas then pasok sa eastwood... pabalik ganun din ang route ko) binabaybay ko araw araw yung ortigas extension (and occasional hataw lang)... medyo ma traffic yung area so i guess normal lang tong FC ko for 4x2... whatchutink guys?

thanks sir jpg111... nakatext ko na din po si lxsun and i've seen the gallery. worry ko lang is yung warranty nya kasi he says he's from angeles, pampanga pa. pero sabi nga nya pupunta sya ng manila to install (i dunno kung home service). okay naman po ba sya magkabit? wala po bang singaw sa HL housing na makaka cause ng fogging and moisture?

sabi din po nya mas maganda daw ang 35W than 55W kasi nakakamelt daw ng housing after a year ang 55W. how true is this po? i'd like it bright like maliwanag talaga ang buga tutal projector type naman ang ilaw natin. and i'm planning to have 6000K's installed lahat sa low/high/fog. thanks in advance.

No problem the way he installed my 3 sets of HID's..He had installed his HID brands to a lot of Montero Sport's as you can see on his gallery aside from the other MS he installed last year.. I've been using my HID's for 6 months already, Ive even used it on a stormy weather 7 hour long drive but never encountered any moisture on my headlights & fog lamps..

He was the one also who recommended that i use 6000K's on hi/lo beam for better visibilty during long drive..3000K for fog lights para di hirap during rainy/foggy weather..

di pala naglalayo ang oil capacity of 8 liters and FC at 7.** kms/li. for the 4X2s.

I was also concerned about this issue of the alarm.. I asked my service advisor about it, he said casa disabled the auto lock feature because of numerous complains from other owners who accidentally leave their keys inside their car

Guys, is there a way to utilize the remote trunk release on our alarm (4x2). It says kasi in the manual that the system is capable of this but you also need to have electronic trunk release. Di ba electronic na yung trunk release natin?

good observation sir, as sir JPG111 mentioned SAs simply say "that" so better be aware that we really need to lock it thru the transmitter. meron ako inaantay from Winterpine it's MMAS alarm-auto start-turbo timer in one

hello! i just had my second refill... and my first km/L computation .

average consumption ko po (4x2 mixed city/highway from cavite-makati-antipolo-makati-antipolo) is 10.2 kms/L.

kinda matipid compared to other SUV's i've used (fortuner 2.5 *8.4 kms/L, and everest 2.5 *9 kms/L). pero my montero is still in it's break-in stage mga 300 kms pa lang sa odo so wala pa pong birit masyado yun.

i'll update this observation on my next fill...
