if you can find 30 its much better
Pero diba the higher the 2nd value means higher resistivity to oil thinning during hi-temp.

resistance is technically friction & heat is a manifestation of resistance (fraying of pistons with the cylinder wall). consequently, the less friction, the less heat. in this case thinner oil has the advantage over thick oil

another source of heat is the one generated by the combustion process in itself which is absorbed first by the sheer volume of the engine oil of your ride. since the capacity of the engine oil is fixed then thinner oil will have the same heat absorbing capacity as a thicker oil. 6.5li of thin oil has relatively the same heat absorbing capacity as 6.5li thick oil. in this case things are pretty much even

with both things considered then thin oil is better

Just follow what is specified in the manual. Do not use oil that is thinner than required, because it will get thinner when the engine reaches it max operating temp. or over if there is a problem with the engine cooling system.

if they really upgraded to ci4, well and good, but i am very sure stiff pa din ang pricing niyan. remember, mitsu doenst make their own oil, sinusupply lang sa kanila yan, then they just label it, presyong casa kaya mahal. dami mas maganda na oil sa presyo nila. the old turbo xp na api sm/cf was 615/liter, yung bago nila is ci4/sm, definitely mas mataas yan. now kung mas mababa, totoo kaya na nag upgrade sila? or packaging lang para bumenta. mostly kasi ng kilala ko, ayaw gumamit ng turbo xp kasi sobra daw ang pricing

You have to see the bottle. Kasi this was available nung March-April pa. Kaya dun na lang tayo sa better oils to get our money's worth.

Diamond Motors usually allow bringing customers' own oils. Basta OEM filter ang ineencourage nila if you are still under warranty.

Butchyboy, yung 15W-50 is the own recommendation of MMPC. It is in the service booklet. Dahil daw sa climate natin..

They encourage you to use Mitsubishi. Pero if you want to use Bosch or Baldwin, they will note it in your service booklet. Sa oil din ginaginawa ito when I decided to bring RP before.
