    Thanks, Danilog/JMS12 for confirmation.

    I think, moving forward, I'll just add 6 bottles of oil (5.6 l - 6 quarts) during oil change. I had 300+ km drive last weekend, checked the dipstick the day after, oil level is at the middle of min/max holes. It looks like I have been overfilling my engine.

    May konting kabig ang 2012 montero namin. Pantay naman ang psi ng gulong. Ano next gawin? Alignment? Balancing?

    pwedeng balancing lang kung kabig pero much better isabay na rin alignment. pwede rin tire rotation...

    Yup gagawin din tire rotation. So balancing muna, then check, kung meron pa rin, alignment na? Ganun po?

    isabay mo na alignment bro para minsanan, minimal cost lang naman yan. i suggest magpa-align ka dun sa mga may computerized equipment.

    If you have to choose between the 2, better to choose alignment. Best option is to do both. In Servitek, it would cost less than 1k to correct alignment (camber, caster, toe). It would cost around 500 for balancing of all the wheels, another 500 for rotation. So there, ~2k.

    Tell tale sign of misalignment is uneven tire wear. Hindi pantay yung kain sa gulong, either sa loob lang o sa labas lang.

    Bale 3 yung usually ina-adjust pag sinabing "alignment". Sasabihin naman nung technician kung alin yung kelangan i-adjust.

    Ask ko lang if anyone experiencing steering wheel shaking when braking at high speed 80kms-100kms? Ano kaya po problem montero ko at saan recommended nyo po gumagawa nun? Salamat!

    Check your tires. Baka hindi na sya balanced o di kaya may damage na iyong gulong mo bro

    GLS-V 2011 model po. Sabi po mekaniko need motor refacing(4 phase) at palit break pad. Tama po kaya diagnostic nila? Salamat

    Yes, yun nga din ang iniisip ko eh. Experienced the same thing with our unit before. At high speeds, may vibration na mararamdaman pag tinapakan ang brakes. Although naka all-disc brakes yung samin since that was a 2012 model. Pag napalitan na, mawawala na yan.

    ah salamat po bossing, just want to confirm lang kung tama sinasabi mekaniko. He charge me po 6,100 for 4 phases refacing, replacement 2 bentex brake pad and brake fluids. Reasonable na po ba yun 6,100 at yun brand bentex pad? Salamat bossing!

    Got my pair of bendix brake pads for my front wheel at approx 2t 6 months ago. Di ko pa napalitan yung likod pero brake drum yun. At least you have an idea how much would be the estimated total cost...

    Uhm, parang ang mahal naman haha. Honestly, di ko na matandaan kung magkano inabot ng samin kasi that was more than 2 years ago pero sa labas lang din ng casa. Iirc, nasa 3-4k lang ata nagastos namin sa refacing at pagpalit sa lahat ng brake pads kaya nagtataka ako bakit 2 bendix brake pads lang sayo + refacing pero umabot ng 6k.

    ipa balancing mo muna at alignment kung makapal pa brake pads mo.

    kung manipis na brake pads at may tama rotor thats the time na need ng refacing. they need to machined the rotors to even and flat the surface para maganda lapat ng brake pads. yun kung may kayod o uneven yung surface, if not i sandpaper lang yan at cleaning. sa machining i think mahal yang 6100. yung bendix brake pads nasa 980 pesos sa LVC banawe dati bili ko, bendix db1774 GCT front, db 1390 rear. kung malapit ka o nasa manila ka rin lang dalhin mo na lang sa shop ni bro zix. oem yung brake pads niya malayong mas maganda kesa bendix
