meron ba talaga power gain using aftermarket drop in filters? ...mga 3 kakilala ko, using KNN drop in for their FM, very minimal to no gain ang experience nila. kamusta experience ng iba?

also researched about this.
basically if on-road, very minimal to also no improvement daw. pag track/racing, meron pa.
with the price of around 3,500pesos(cheapest i found for FM in ebay US), i'd rather use replacement paper filter nalang. just change it every so often.
If ever the situation calls for...
Good Day po sa lahat. I'm new here. I planning to sell my Delica and buy an SUV. I'm choosing between a 05 Pajero Fieldmaster Ralliart and a 03 Nissan Patrol. The Patrol is much cheaper by almost 100k. Ano po kaya ang maganda sa dalawa?
I havent tried aftermarket drop-in filters yet...My real purpose of this is, it is washable....for Hurricane filter -2500 compared to 350 on replacement filter which you need to replace at least every 5000 Kms. More expensive in the long run i think....
I think paper filter which is low cost is far more restrictive in air flow compared to aftermarket filters....
Less restrictive, less pollutants coming to your engine naman. More flow, more dust. But if K&N, medyo close to OEM filtration na kaso mahal nga lang.

pwede nga siguro hindi every 5K. In my experience kasi and as advised by central diesel to me, pag madume ang filter, umiitim din ang usok sa exhaust...the last time i had my FM checked by them, replacement of air filter lang resolved the black smoke.
also medyo trip ko yung washable. I find it more of peace of mind. kesa im guessing if ok pa yung replacement filter ko...
i am inquiring lang din baka may nakasubok na ng Hurricane filters sa mga FM peeps...2.5K lang kasi compared to KNN.....
thanks
