I was informed that our FM's left front shock absorber and left rear shock absorber are due for replacement. Whew gastos ito :-) I'm now in a dilemma whether to replace all of them, or just the two worn out shocks. Or if I go OEM again or go replacement shocks na lang to save on costs. I saw in sulit.com that someone is selling 4pcs. used OEM shock absorbers for pajeros for just 10k. Any advice guys? Thanks.

mahirap sa used, you'll never know the real condition of the shocks.

Ano kaya problem kung namamatay ang aircon pag mabagal or stop and go ang takbo ng sasakyan? Mag-oon lang ulit pag medyo mabilis na ang takbo. Pinacheck ko na sa shop and ginawa is cleaning and replace expansion valve and filter. Ganun pa rin. Pangsundo ko kasi sa school and kailangan paikot ikot sa perimeter ng school and sobrang traffic.

Mahina na alternator mo or may problem sa grounding ng ride mo. Electrician maganda tumingin dyan bro. Never experienced it but tingin yan culprit dyan.

baka maluwag yung aircon belt kaya di gumagana sa low revs yung compressor, have all your belts tighten muna. Better still kung due for replacement palitan mo na rin ng V-belts...

i'd rather spend 10k on replacement brand new parts than having OEM but used parts. hirap yan eh, subject to wear and tear ang shock absorbers unlike surplus parts say side mirrors, interior parts. better get new ones.

Thanks for the reply, CB and junerski.

For those who have experienced having worn out shocks, is it alright to just change two shocks or kailangan talaga na apat na?

Kug=ng same type, no need to replace both. As long as you change ASAP, the problem won't affect the other shocks performance naman eh. Sayang din kasi IMO.

Thanks sa mga replies. Problem is di ko mareplicate ang problem dito sa amin. Binilad ko sa araw and lumamig naman kahit naka-idle.

Is it possible na ECU and problem?

I've been experiencing low fuel mileage and naka-ilaw ang airbag warning light.

Much better na ngayon compared nung dati. Sa concrete/flat surface not much difference, sa lubak kasi nung last biyahe ko, grabe lagapak nung left rear ko. I compared the left with the right since maraming butas sa daan at yun nga, hindi na gumagana left shock ko. So nag-try me na isa lang muna palitan since ok pa yung sa right. Pero mas ok yung bago ngayon, nagdadalawang isisp na nga me kung pati right palitan ko na since mura lang naman.

Yung front ang OEM talaga ipapalit ko if ever. Sayang yung SMH setting kasi it works very well for cornering at high speed, iba talaga difference esp kung maganda daanan. Sa rear not much eh.

Jemson is a freelance electrician sa banawe... but highly recommended... yung pwesto niya bago magsogo hotel (coming from qave ka) may katabing radiator shop.

people go to him to have accessories/electronics installed (bought from car accessories shop)

if you want code alarm to be installed, i suggest go to the distributor itself, sa winterpine along araneta ave... (side ng papunta sta mesa) nagpakabit lang ako sa kanila a few months back ng code alarm ok naman and syempre kabisado na nila FM natin dahil sila nga official installers.

Pacheck mo lahat ng suspension parts and if more than 5 years na parts, kahit hindi pa sira papalian mo ng OEM parts tapos pa-check mo mga bushings mo.
