Its not due for calibration naman daw. Now after less than a week, hirap nanaman mag start. Thanks in advance!

One of the guys there, supervisor yata (iba kasi yung uniform) told me na for calibration na yung FM ko. This morning kasi after starting (one click), namatay yung engine nung nagreverse ako tapos nag hard starting na. Will bring my FM sa Central Diesel this week. Pacheck ko muna yung fuel line. Sana yun lang ang sira if not calibration na nga malamang (gastos nanaman ). Will post an update after going sa Central Diesel. Thanks again!
Update lang po mga sir. Had my FM calibrated sa Central Diesel. Left it last thursday and just got it this morning. Medyo matagal, dami yata sila ginagawa. Nabawasan yung engine shake and smoother yung ride. I don't know if thats psychological lang kasi bagong serviced. So far 1 click start na lang sya the whole day and hindi na namamatay yung engine. I'll know tomorrow morning kung ok pa rin with the engine na malamig. Cost of calibration (parts and labor) - 10,520Php. The mechanic suggested that i replace my nozzle tips also kasi may dent na. Pwede pa naman daw pero parang hassle nanaman pag bumigay so i took his advise and had it replaced also. That cost me additional 10,440Php for parts and labor. Total damage = 20,960.

ganyan naman talaga more or less gagastusin sa calibration...nasa 20k price range... ang talagang nagpapamahal eh yung nozzle tips... and more often than not palitin na rin talaga yun. chineck din kaya sir yung glowplugs nyo? siguro naman. ginto rin kasi presyo original glowplugs natin nasa 2k plus ata isa... so 4pcs parang presyong nozzle tip na rin.

nahihinaan din ako sa headlight ng fm ko kaya what i did is that i removed the heavy tint in my windshield and just retained the upper and lower tint as visors. i also replaced my stock h4 bulbs and replaced with narva 60/55 all weather bubs. palagi kasing naulan dito sa silang and oftentimes foggy in tagaytay. mas nakaka penetrate kasi ang light ng all weather bulbs lalo night driving+heavy rains+fog as compared with stock.

there are some paj headlights that have patterns on the glass cover while some have clear ones. for some local paj (lh drive), the beam pattern has a 15 degree upward sloping section on its right side while for the jdm, i noticed nasa left yun sloping angle nya going up. aside from the cover pattern, the beam pattern also has something to do with the bulb diffuser and the reflector as a whole.

    RE: bolt on
Pero output wise, not on par with the retrofitted ones.

Kung baga, pwedeng gawing reference ang isa't isa just in case magkaroon ng problem on a particular part.

parehas pala kami ng views ng erpats mo, but both patrol and paj have their own pros and cons depending on use preference and road conditions san gagamitin.

imho, patrol is good for off roading because of its rigid axle, stiffer suspension and high ground clearance while the paj is good for city driving because of its independent suspension and perfect for the road conditions here in the Philippines. of course with more suspension moving parts in the paj higher din ang probability ng maintenance nya. engine of the patrol is larger (3.0) and more advanced than the 2.8 fm. but even with the larger engine, hindi din nagpapaiwan ang paj because of the patrols bigger body. external dimensions ng patrol, yes mas malaki ang patrol as compared with the fm but mas masikip ito sa loob than the fm. aesthetics wise, hmmm subjective na ito and depends from person to person na.

talking in general not only for the fm, this is the one of the drawbacks of using the compression ignition type engine (diesel) as compared with the spark ignition type (gasoline), its the calibration maintenance cost! but once it is corrected, it will give you years and years of service.

Since I live in a flood prone area, getting a Pajero is a practical choice... well I have no choice.. hehehe ... but I love the drive and its a good & reliable car.

Regarding headlights, I changed my frosted HL to clear ones from DEPO. yeah replacement sya, but they are still in good condition up to now no haze or loss in quality. by the way my rig is exposed to the Sun a lot of times still no discoloration...

how true sir bg! reliable, tough, easy to maintain, durable, parts availability, hindi namimili ng kalye mapa baha, mapa rough road, ++ pogi points pa!

with regards naman sa headlight, makakatulong din sir if we stick to 60/55 bulbs. kasi with higher wattage bulbs, there is a possibility that discoloration will occur not to mention the peeling-off of the reflectors.

di ko tanda na how much...

Pero I opted for Philips XV 65/55, too expensive para saken ang Retro-fit.
