Good day po mga sir, newbie here and I would just like to ask some questions about our 2002 Pajero Fieldmaster 2WD Auto with the 2.8 TD. The car has 180000kms on it and it runs well, but there's exessive black smoke upon accelerator input or even whenever the revs go up, even with no load at idle. As I said, the car runs decent and pulls alright, although I can't make much of a comment since I haven't driven another Pajero but there seems to be too much fuel since it appears to have not so good fuel consumption and again, the black smoke.... I'm thinking that the problem's with the fuel/injection pump
or the turbo(??) Also, the intercooler and its pipes have quite a lot of oil in it. I do understand that there will usually be very little or even just a thin film of oil inside from the breather but this also seems quite excessive. Any thoughts po, mga sir? Thank you po and sorry for any mistakes, I've always been reading through these forums and finally decided to sign up
