anong gamit mo na ngayon BG? nagplano din akong magpalit.

Naka bosch filter and delo 400 ako ngaun ... pero next month palitan ko na ng Magnatec 10w-40 with bosch again pero 5k kms change oil interval lang ..

Was gonna go with baldwin and zic x7 10w-40 .. kaso as per advice saken it might cause leaks sa engine kasi di sanay sa synthetic mga seals ko and they are quite old na rin ... It did leak sa Mag1 5w-40 synthetic dati kya i dont want to do it again ..

It is good as new again pag napalitan yung mga old parts.For me lahat ng pang ilalim ay napalitan na ng OEM including yung shocks sa likod (except sa harap, orig pa rin).

Knock on wood, so far wala pang major breakdown yung FM ko.

my gen2 and FM both on petron super diesel 105php per liter tapos after suki card 95php lang
kayalang discovered baba ng api rating CC lang.. so planning to change to better oil...

Nagpa-regreasing ako mga joints sa Paj. Dinamay ko na din yung sinasabi mo sa brakes na trick. Seems it work, kanina pa walang ingay. hehe. Malaman ko mamaya since matagal natambay at malamig na brakes.

Petron trekker ka na lang, less than P200 din. Seems you prefer petron products naman hehe

medyo malakilaki na rin bro. wala namang nagbago sa maintenance cost after the restoration. the good thing is, oil change na lang every three months with mineral oil plus baldwin oil filter (BD28), bosch air filter and baldwin fuel filter every 6 months.

more than one year yung restoration project ko. i started sa suspension (replaced all worn out parts), then a little tweaking on the engine (di ko pa na overhaul), rebuild the AT, calibrate and overhaul the IP, replaced the starter, compressor, alternator, radiator, changed the mags, bought new tires, installed bumper overider, installed foglamps and rooflights, upgrade the headlamp, new upholstery, new HU and subwoofer, installed turbo timer and volt meter. when i reached 100k i stopped counting anymore. cguro i can already buy an old vios (2010 or older) for all that. i replaced the steering wheel too. i'm planning for a washover but casa quoted me 60k. i will install a TPMS soon. papalitan ko din yung steering shaft joint assembly (part number: MR113004).

it's worth it, bro. in the process, you learn a lot of things. i must admit i know nothing about cars except to drive. now, i have a pretty good idea. [emoji5]
yung FM natin is old school diesel pero matibay ito. if properly maintained, it'll last long. the parts are easy to find. members here recommend OEM. i introduced some, but those that are too expensive i bought replacement parts only. for example, the OEM of starter at casa is priced at 45k, more or less. the replacement is pegged at 6k.

Would anyone know saan nakakabili ng boot/rubber bushing for the caliper pin ng brakes natin? (yung parang accordion ang itsura)
Punit na kasi yung sa akin at nagtanong tanong na ako sa casa at sa mga auto supplies kasama raw yun sa repair kit.. hindi nabibili ng tingi.

So far saken kahit yung front RT tahimik pa rin ... sana nga tumagal till replacement time ...

Since usapang oil ... meron ba dito naka gamet ng zic oil 10w-40 synthetic? Thinking of using this kaso baka mag leak ulit ako, like dun sa mag1 5w-40 na fully synthetic dahil sa nipis ng oil ... any thoughts?
