November 28th, 2004 03:10 AM #322I paid 9.4T/pair for the OME coil springs.
Nagpainstall din ako ng QFM brake pads. Galing ng braking power. Anyone tried the dba rotor disc? Its my next upgrade after I solve the overheating problem.Last edited by levi; November 28th, 2004 at 03:21 AM.

November 28th, 2004 03:18 AM #323What happened to your temp gauge? Baka yun lang sira ng sa akin. I just came from Sucat and travelling at edsa with no traffic and my temp is slightly high then when I got home, I turned off the aircon and then after a few minutes my temp goes very high. When I turned on the aircon the temp falls to low. I could see it drop very very fast so just now Im thinking it might be the gauge or does the Pajero have a water sending unit? I dont think an overheating engine will cool down after 20 seconds of turning on the aircon ( fan will activate ) or I might be wrong.

November 30th, 2004 01:36 AM #326Brake pads cost 3T for the front and 3T also for the rear. Try Redbox at president ave in BF Sucat if you are from that area. I was told to go there by RATS Blue Ridge because Im looking for aftermarket Brake Rotor. They sell QFM and Bendix Brake pads.

Levi: I have my engine coolant temp gauge replaced also, OEM P1050 sa Eldorado, after experiencing low temp reading (same with promdiboy). Meron palang ok na cheap replacement as per KCBoy sayang.
Here's the procedure to check engine coolant temp gauge unit. You just need multi-meter, thermometer and some tightening wrench.
1) Remove engine coolant temp gauge unit.
2) Immersed the unit in 70degC water to measure the resistance by connecting multimeter on body and terminal of the temp gauge unit.
3) The standard value is 104 +/- 13.5 ohms (using multimeter).
4) Replaced if reading is outside this value.
5) After checking apply 3M adhesive nut locking no.4171 or equivalent around the thread of engine coolant temp gauge unit.
Hope this helps.

Idol PK -- Bihira ka na magpost ah.
Syanga pala, I changed my stock tires (Dueller AT) to Pirelli Scorpions 275x70R16. Bought it from Miller in West avenue for 5700 a piece. But have them mounted and balanced on other stores which I paid another 800pesos. Thanks sa post about miller raket on tire mounting. I'm included on their long list of victim for my civic. Taka nga sila ng sabihin kong paki deliver yun gulong sa store across the street for mounting. Anyway, I saw the ralliart mags and they are willing to trade my GDI (yun ba tawag dun sa stock ng 2000 fieldmaster) for 9.5K pesos. Pero local ralliart daw yun from Rota.

KC Boy, You have mentioned replacement parts for engine temp sensor.
repair kit lang. car care nut says, for toyotas, he recommends entire assembly replacement for...
