What will be the best solution to improve the air-conditioning of our L300 VV?
Dapat di nag o-overheat during traffic sa tanghali kahit bilad sa araw malamig ang loob at di nag ooverheat pag paahon.

Brother george, i had same prob as yours but now my AC's VV is now ok.
try to do this (first thing first).
try to clean your AC (rear) and change your alternator. since if your alt is still original, i am pretty sure it's only 50 or 55 amps. try to change it to 110 amps (like the 1 from starex) it will not give your AC more power but the rest of your gadgets, lights, horn etc.

if you're still not satisfied about the outcome (AC), try to change your AC (rear) into YOKOHAMA. But in here, you have to change the cover of your AC (rear) since it will not fit into yokohama as this is bigger.

Believe me your AC will now be ok after you do as I said.

Hello Guys! Newbie lang ako dito sa forum, but we have our L300VV since 1997 pa (but it is a 1991 model), It was a very good car/van and all it needs is TLC. Pero meron kong problem, meron kasin bumasag nung 2 tail lights nung van, i was wondering where i could get a replacement that is of quality but a cheaper cost. Nakakatakot kasing bumili sa banawe baka galing sa chop-chop yun, sa casa naman ng mitsubishi napakamahal. Hoping to hear from the gurus here soon! Thanks and Cheers!

Brother Virus, walang namang problema kung mabili mo sa banawe is galing sa chop-chop atleast original. like u said mahal sa casa, i think it costs 5k (1 side only) kapag buo pero kung cover lang its only 1k+ sa casa.
ingat ka lang bumili kasi baka fake mabili mo, pag fake yung cover mismo mag fade in few months.

last week tumaas ng temp ng L300 ko sobrang trafic as munoz hangang crame south bound,, sira na pala ang water pump, beside me thermostat papala na sira ang L3 ko pinatangal ko na din,.

pasali dito. meron kami kaso hindi vv yung 97 L300 exceed.. langya hirap pala maghanap ng piyesa nun..

recently nasira yun fuel pump and switch valve yata tawag dun sa carb napatambak kasi and bihira lang magamit ayun napanisan ng gasolina hangang ngayon palyado pa din pero sabi ng mekaniko gamitin daw ng gamitin para mawala yun palya.. 14200 nagastos pyesa lang yun..tsk tsk

Tanong lang kung meron nang naka experience nito: Is it okay for the VV to run backwards after full stopping from 80-60kph speed? i have this experience when i stop at the toll exit from NLEX our Versa van suddenly run backwards (slow) and only stops after i hit the break again. It already happened to me 4 times. I have it check but the mechanic said, there no problem with our van. Is it the van itself, science or supernatural thing?

Flat naman po yung street or area where the van stop, i usually felt the backward run upon approach to toll gates (from a contineous run) to stop.
Happened again last Saturday..... Coastal Road Toll Gates...

the road may not be flat, parang flat lang due to optical illusion. naka-incline yan pababa hindi lang halata.

Am not sure specifically but you can try asking at any A/C repair shops or if you have any doubt you can pay me a visit here in plaridel Bulacan so i can assist you with YOKOHAMA and it's cover. I'ts just 30 min drive from Balintawak.

When i bought my Yokohama it has a price of 12k (2008) and last year they dropped the price to almost half, so its cheaper now but i forgot the exact cost.
For the custom cover, i spent 6kpesos.

If you like, visit me first and have a look in my L300's A/C before u modify yours and then from there u can decide.

I would like to post the pix of my AC's customed cover but my digi cam just broke the other day, it's LCD just turned all white. and everytime I turn it on it stays the same, and I say WTF!!! So, sori 'bout that, as I can't post it.

mga sirs. I have a 97 model L300 versa van. I just want to know a good alarm brand that can be installed that can lock-unlock all of its 5 doors (2 front, 2 sliding and 1 lift gate). Mga how much ung magandang alarm brand?

mga peeps tanong kon lang kung anong cause ng problem ng L3 malikot na manibela tapos hindi bumabalik sa 0 position or center posistion?>
