    To start with, ang steering system ng L300 ay recirculating ball type fore-and-aft (push-pull") equipped with draglink.
    Madami kasing steering linkages ang L300.

    1. Start i-check mga tie rod ends mo baka sobra maluwag na
    2. check mo din yung idler arm sa right side (kung ok pa sya palitan mo lang yung plastic bushing nya. Kung pangit na, pwede mo pa inject kay cruven or palit with genuine 555 or OEM kung may budget ka)
    3. check mo din yung bell crank (centerpost) kung may "play" (alog). Kung wala pang tama yung mga metal components nya sa loob, palitan m lang yung 2 plastic bushings(OEM P320.00, Ordinary replacement bushing P60-P100.00) nya at yung oil seal nya. Palitan ang buong assembly kung may tama ang mga metal components sa loob (OEM P5,280, Mitoyo (made in japan) repl P1300, Taiwan P450)
    4. Check mo rin mga ends ng drag link
    5. check mo rin mga power steering hoses kung may malakas na tagas kc, "nasta - starve" ung PS gearbox kaya di agad balik sa sentro
    6. Presuming na ok yung steering system mo, pacheck mo na rin alignment nya
    7. check na dapat tama ang adjustment ng caster rod (huwag pakilalaman ito na basta basta
    8. lastly, proper tire inflation

    hindi dapat. basta nasa factory specified ka na tire size wala ka dapat problema. Tsaka dapat mas maganda magka parehong brand and size s left and right side. Unless sobrang malapad talaga nilagay mo na tires medyo bibigat talaga steering mo but then you will have rubbing issues.

    Ginalaw ba nila, sir, yung caster rod mo? kasi kung ginalaw nila yun at hindi naibalik yung tamang sukat hindi talaga magse sentro manibela mo

    mga sir.... I'm a fellow VV owner na din...just got it 2 weeks ago, it's a '96 model L300 VV ok pa naman ang body di lang maalaga sa himas ang previous owner kaya mukang madumi.

    So far I've changed the alternator to 110amp (yung pang starex) got it for 6.5k sa manila, pinaremedyuhan lang kse ng kinunan ko yun alt before inabutan naman agad sakin after 2 weeks na gamit... well, talagang my mga papagawa naman talaga if you buy a 2nd hand car...atleast ok na ngayon...satisfied naman sa ac malamig kahit sa tanghali.

    other things na kelangan papalitan are the oil seals in the differential, crankshaft and others once binuksan na...normal ba na mag leak agad?? 109k pa lang reading ng odo so parang ang bilis, do you guys have the same experience? another is yun power steering....eto mejo malakas ang leak kya lang di pa ma trace kun saan...ang gusto ng mechanin ko is ibaba...ano ba common cause ng leak sa power steering? balak ko kse sabay sabay na pagawa para isang abala na lang...

    kelangan ko mapatio ng husto to coz this car will take my daughter to school and do deliveries aswell... hope you can help me guys...TIA

    mga sir ako ako din po 96 model vv gas type ngpalit ng alternator from 75 amp ginawang 90 amp kaso binago ang bracket kc d sya sukat from besta .kc humihina at ngddskarga ang battery pag naka on na lahat lalo na pag naka aircon at pati ang engine ay ngpapalya pati. pero ngyon napalitan na bakit parang ganun pa rin pag nag aircon na ay humihina at sa pag change gear or pag arangkada parang sisinok or papalya makina?sabi ok nmn dw alternator at battery.pero bat ganun pa rin?

    nung umuwi kmi pangasinan 2x at night trip p kmi pabalik umuwi ulit ng las pinas itinirik kmi sa nlex at iginapang ko n lng kc pati ilaw ko malabo na at palyado makina na(kulang na sa kuryente).until inabutan n kmi ng liwanag sa lawton nung pinatay ko ilaw ayun gumnda na ang takbo...

    any help or suggestion po? uuwi n nmn kmi pangasinan this May 9 kc.

    sir bravo3.... check mo muna charging ng alternator, if my multimeter ka kya mo na gawin to. dapat nasa 13+v sya even with all accessories on, pag mababa sa 13 eh my problema alternator mo.... also check the tension of your alt belt pag maluwag kse to di din magchacharge mabuti...

    pag mahina ang kuryente hirap talaga menor.... masyado bumababa.... HTH

    sir sammynic thanx for your reply..ok po na check ko na dati at d nmn bumaba ang palo sa multimeter d nga po bumababa sa 13..ok din po ang belt although minsan nga un pa isa din problema parati naluwag ..pero kahit d maluwag nandun pa rin ung problem..

    Meron po ba kayong alam kung saan pwede mag pa-appraise ng L300 VV 91 Model Gas, balak na kasi naming palitan yung VV namin ng Adventure or crosswind? Good running condition naman, di na kasi lately nagagamit occassional na lang. Di pa naman 100% sure na ibebenta, just like to know the value of it's present condition.

    another question, does mitsubishi phil alows trade-in for new car?

    If i'm not mistaken the production of the Mitsubishi L300 vans started in th early 70's, then known as Mitsubishi Delica, but Mitsubishi Motors changes its name to L300. The 1984 L300 was powered by a petrol or diesel engine, the petrol one being the 4G32. The Australian release of the L300 in 1980 was powered by the 4G32, with the 4G62 becoming available in the 1984 model.The L300 came in a 2WD FMR layout and 4WD version. The 4WD version was a first generation Mitsubishi Pajero chassis with a van body.

    Since 1986, the L300 has gone though just one generation, keeping the same design with updates on part of the interior and frontal exterior only, as well as a few new features. The van is available in diesel and petrol, The same engines have remained since 1986, but with a few new variations with the petrol engines.

    Diesel engines are available in 2.0 L and the bigger sized engine, 58 kW (78 hp) 2.5 L (codenamed the 4D56), which was also available in the turbo engine producing 68 kW (codenamed the 4D56T).

    Petrol engines include the SOHC 4 cylinder 4G63 1997 cc with 86 kW (117 PS; 115 hp) at 5750 rpm and 163 N·m (120 lb·ft) at 4000 rpm and the 4G64 2351 cc with 84 kW (114 PS; 113 hp) at 5000 rpm and 188 N·m (139 lb·ft) at 3000 rpm. These engines are LPG compatible.

    The first-generation L300 is available in the Philippines in truck, PET (people, equipment transport), AUV and passenger van configurations. All are fitted with the 4D56 normally aspirated engine and 5 speed manual transmission.

    The AUV variant is available with or without air conditioning, optional floor mats, vinyl seats and new interior body paneling and white exterior color only. In Canada, the L300 Delica 4WD is very popular with rural off-roaders and skiing enthusiasts.

    sir bravo3... try mo pa check battery baka palitin na and check also the terminals baka maluwag lang or madumi kaya di nagkakarga mabuti ang batt... if ok ang charging, it means ok ang alt... so try to isolate the problem muna...

    virus x, most car dealers accept trade-in... pero mababa appraisal... if you can sell your car directly you will get a better chance of selling it at the right price...

    pero syempre if you dont have time and want to get your new ride na trade in is the way to go...or bring your car sa mga buy and sell and see who gives the best price... HTH
