Mine is a 2012 glsv m/t. Odo is 29k. All stock.
Resolved my alarm issues by timing my casa appt when the winterpine tech was there. Replaced alarm sensor under warranty. Toyota alarm systems are better since you can lock/open doors independent of the alarm.
Been using euro4 always since a year ago except for the travel up north where I refill with petron turbodiesel. So tank is still a mixture of fuels. Black smoke only when abruptly accelerating up to 3k rpm. Seems to lessen after repeatedly stepping up to 3k rpm. Black smoke on acceleration again after not using the vehicle for a few days. Had the egr cleaned twice already. Laptop diagnostics are within normal. Casa admits all has been done. Explanation accepted already.
FC is 9to10km/l city by manual compute. Improves to 14 km/l by mid if you keep at 80kph though almost impossible to do so. This is a fast car.
No check engine light or loss of power ever.
Very much enjoying cruise control on the highways up north and down south.
Radio preset buttons and dvd function unpredictable. For winterpine aurora checking under warranty. MID gps tpms working fine.
Seat not ergonomic. Bad for long trips. Remedied with 4 pcs of elevo seat cushion with headrest for driver passenger and 2nd row.
Significantly better suspension vs fortuner and innova felt when on bad roads.
4h on inclines steep mountain roads and heavy rain very useful.
So far still a good buy and no regrets. Posting to help would be buyers since this forum is the main reason why we got the monty. Thanks and continue posting feedback.

Since the issues are very minimal! and no regrets, Getting the MT version, superb!

Can i ask sir, kung meron po bang nagbago sa clutch after 2yrs (clutch spot) na since day 1 na nakuha po yung unit, same pa rin ba pag binitawan yung clutch, na hindi basta-basta na mag-stall yung engine, w/o assist sa gas, specially sa tight maneuver? (punching power of 400NM * 1st gear)

and before driving po ba?! warm up nyo po ba yung engine at least 10mins?! after cold start-up?!
wala po akong naging problem sa turbo diesel....kahit abrupt sa revving in idle or during driving, wala po black smoke (always check the center mirror) to confirm kung merong emitting black smoke, di ko lang po sure, parang hiyang ang turbo diesel sa MT version..

Not sure I understand what you meant about the clutch. It definitely takes some getting used to along with the steering if coming from a sedan.
Got tired of checking the black smoke but definitely does not happen all the time. Regular city and highway driving no black smoke. Its only during the occasional abrupt revving after several days of nonuse. It goes away after high revving several times.

May nakaexperience na ba dito ng leaking rack and pinion? *15km leaking na rack and pinion ko. Pina overhaul ko pero after sometime it started leaking again. Saan po kaya sakali pwde makabili ng buong assembly?

Sir have you tried rubbing candela on your squaeking v-belts, inspite of higpit na? Ingat lang sa radiator fan blades.

no sir. after mahigpitan nawawala naman yung ingay. pwede rin siguro gamitan niyang rubbing candela or mga belt dressing sprays.

sa casa pinapahigpitan sir, libre naman kung mga minor adjustments lang.

Once a week I did the rubbing candela, natatanggal pa yong dumi nanakapit sa v-belt.

Sir yong sa v-belt ng compressor puede higpitan, CWsa 12mm adjusting screw ng tensioner pulley.
