RE: New Year Time Glitch

I cannot confirm the authenticity of this but a post by a certain Mr. Edwin Mendiola on the Mirage Pilipinas Facebook page says:

units can be brought to an office in front of Robinson's Place Magnolia and that software will be updated within 1 to 2 hours to fix the problem at no charge. (They are probably from the supplier's side?)

Those with membership with the Mirage group here, can probably do a screen grab. My apologies if I can't link up to the post due to the privacy settings. It seems to be the closest to a solution for all of us.

Yes. I know that edwin. He was the first one to have his HU to be pulled out as he reported it directly to winterpine.

Mine resets to plus 8 hours local time after a few minutes of start. Montero sport GTV 2012. Hope Mitsubishi can solve this problem.

I called Winterpine Cebu. The guy on the line told me our HUs source date code does not go beyond 2018. Thus the error in the reference time.
They're working on a revision to the code to correct this.

Random times of the day. During the morning. Afternoon. Evening. Time in between resets is different too. Sometimes hours, sometimes minutes in between.

Seems to be increasing in frequency daily.

Exact same problem. 2013 GLX MT owner here. ☹️

napa-WTF na lang ako if this is the real reason. probably the coder/programmer didn’t believe that the world will go on beyond 2017.

I have this issue with our 2012 gtv.

Nagpapalit ako ng inhibitor switch sa casa. Inayos na rin nila ung HU issue. Na-update din yung welcome screen.
