2013 Mitsubishi Mirage

Got the Savanna White GLS CVT last friday. already encountered four problems.

- off from the dealership, I filled the tank full at a station, then the mirage won't start.
- the driver door panel is not properly screwed/clipped. may lagatok pag hinihila.
- the airbag malfunction indicator is lit up from day 1. had it fixed through the dealerships diagnostic software.
- there is a high pitch noise while running with handbrake and the brake not pressed.

the FC as well is not promising as of the moment.

Ayaw magstart? Bat kaya?

Im not experiencing any "tok" sound po. Yung engine noise, same as mine, 3 cylinder kasi e.




ang puna ko lang po talaga is the shifting of gears sa M/T. di smooth, parang sumasabit somewhere ang feeling... bakit po kaya ganon, ung mga naka M/T ganeto rin po bang ang experience nyo?

ganyan din po yung isa naming car when we got it a few years back, not maintenance free and only the + terminal is covered w/ red rubber.. sabi nila ganyan daw talaga un, though i didnt ask na kung bakit.hehe :D

re: the clutch, kahit po diin na ung clutch, di parin smooth.. yung sanyo ba di ganeto? swabe ba?

hindi talaga maintenance free ang battery nakiata ko na sa factory picture sa thailand on topgear ph. ang brand pa yata is HITACHI AT GS GANYAN NAKA KABIT SA MONTERO SPORT. BUTI PA PAG LOCAL ASSEMBOLED MAINTENANCE FREE NA ANG STOCK BATTERY. AT DOON SA TERMINAL NA NEGATIVE WALA TALAGA RUBBER COVER KAHIT SA IBANG BRAND KAHIT IYONG XWIND NG TATAY KO WALA DIN RUBBER COVER ANG NEGATIVE TERMINAL

Valle Verde Group din here, still a negativ kay SA, Bad Trip alis na ko bukas, and balik ako 2nd week ng Dec na, pitikin ko putotoy SA ko pag ilabas nya yan ng wala ako......

may inooffer na black GLS MT saken SA ko wala pa daw talaga yung preferred color ko. I refused intay ko na lang yung color of my choice, baka sa inyo may gusto ng black its up for grabs...

GLS ba yung sayo? Kaya daw natatagalan release ng GLS models ng planta kasi iniinstall and configure pa daw yung GPS. Puro GLX daw dumadating sa kanila eh.

takaw tagas kasi yan ganyan, acidic pa naman ang battery fluid, malakas makakalawang yun

Upgrade to an Amaron battery? Hehe.

Only the positive terminal is covered since the vehicle uses a negative body ground system and it wouldnt matter if the hood actually made contact with the negative terminal od the battery.

^the hood will never get into contact with the battery terminal because there is a heat insulation covering attached underneath the hood itself

That insulating thing is just about worn down on my 95 Toyota. But the terminal cover seems to be holding up well.

The terminal cover also averted a possible disaster when a pal set some tools down on the battery during routine maintenance. One end of the long wrench landed on the cover, the other landed on the terminal cover. Hehe

I suspect yung Alarm na locally installed lalo na kung meron tong immobilizer function. kasi dinemo sakin kung pano i disable yung alarm once na nagloko yung Smart Key. then yun nung pinatay ko ayaw magstart. pinress ko yung unlock then push start, gumana na.

In case pala yung Key nawalan ng battery, open the car with the physical key at the passenger side door, this will trigger the alarm. so kailangan i disable yung alarm by using the override/valet switch located under the dash on the drivers side.

mejo dissapointing yung mga problems na lumabas since kalalabas palang. pero kayang kaya pa naman ayusin ng CASA.

its safer to have both terminals covered with insulation lalo na pag kailangang tangalin yun battery to replenish the batt fluid

pero kung nagtitipid pwede na nga yung isa lang, extra ingat na lang ng hindi mashort ng wrench yun 2 terminals ng batt

Goy my glx cvt today. Nakasabay ko pa ng release si benjtot (d ko sure kung tama spelling). Pareho kme nagaaccess ng tsikot forum dun. =) So far so good, kya lang wla man lang light yung sa tranny (P, FFd,R, D, B). Mine has 18kms pag la bas ng casa, drove for a 10kms palang and MID shows 17.6 km/l. Mine has EWD and car care kit

after change oil tune-up, magkakaroon po ng pagbabago yan sa fc.

Galing ng 27km/l ni chewcandy. Yung highest ko is 23km/l lang, pure highway pa. hehe
Yan ang mas reliable kase long drives * 268km trip.
Yan ang sinasabi ko na kaya ibeat ni CVT ang M/T. Depends on driving habit, magaan ang paa.
