sir problema ko din yan noon bago monti ko wala pa sya 1 month, ang ginawa ko minutes before i reach destination i switch to fan to dry up the evaporator ayun nawala yung maasim na amoy. and di ako gumagamit ng anu mang air freshener kya yung amoy ni monti ganun padin 1 yr old na sya.
mag 3 months na gls-v ko. buti naman wala pa ako na-encounter na masamang amoy sa aircon.
For the 15,000km pms, i had the oil change done in one of the Caltex service station near our place.I wanted to try the new Delo 400 Multigrade.
The difference was felt immediately..acceleration is smoother, power seems higher, engine is quieter. This is compared to the performance when I used casa-supplied motor oil.
It's a bit more expensive * around Php380/liter but I think it's all worth it.
I've been using Delo ever since I was driving a Mits Adventure and it's a proven oil for diesel engines but this Delo 400 Multigrade is way better.
Have you checked the emission?
It says in the Delo Product sheet:
"While modest by typical heavy duty diesel standards, Delo 400 Multigrade has a level of
phosphorus higher than permitted by certain recent standards for passenger car motor
oils, e.g. ILSAC GF-5, and the ACEA “C” standards. Optimum life of catalytic emission control
systems will be achieved by using oils of the performance standard recommended by the
vehicle manufacturer."
Mga ka-Montero! kakatapos ko lang mag pa service (1,000km) sa Jabez Dasmarinas Cavite.
Post ko yung service menu na ginawa 4D56 diesel. I opted for the mineral oil being break-in period pa.
For a mass produced engine I could hardly believe na i-offer agad nila yun fully synthetic at 1t km.. Mitsubishi Turbo XP which to be technically correct is not really full synthetic din naman.
question ko lang is if we could refuse some of the items here which I feel is superfluous and even unneeded without voiding warranty?
i.e. - sand paper (as per SERVICE ADVISOR pang tangal daw ng oil filter. what? wala ba kayong filter wrench?)
- fuel treatment (in my more that two decade of owning vehicles this is the first time I used such a product)
- car care kit (what the f**k is this? in previous times they would release your car from service and you could expect it to be washed and vacuumed w/o
extra charge)
- engine flush (is this imperative be done EVERY oil change time?)
- miscellaneous ( i guess this is par for the course, basahan, drain plug, washer..etc. so I guess I can let miscellaneous pass)
TIA
Hi, guys. Inquire ko lang if there’s an option for GLX model to equip it with the multi-information display or do I have to change the head unit? Thanks in advance.
our rig registered a performance of a satisfactory 12 km/liter consumption from manila to baguio and back. i think it's pretty good considering it was packed to the hilt and it also ran smack into a terrible 2+ hour traffic jam upon stepping into edsa territory on its way back to las pinas![]()
saan kayo brand ng gas station usually nag papakarga ng diesel at ano klase?
i'm planning to upgrade my ride to a Pajero. what would you think be the price of a gtv 2012, 8mos old with 20k kms odo. all stock except k&n air filter, fully paid. any idea guys?
