i got a message from home that my unit na nasa garahe won't unlock and doors cannot be open. battery is new pati baterya ng susi lately lang din napalitan at napaandar pa last week. what seems to be the problem?[emoji848]

is it the right remote?
seriously! i have seen it happen to folks who have more than one similar car...

is the pilot light of the remote working? if it does not, the electrical contacts might be dirty. try shaking the remote or "bang it against a hard surface a bit".

Bro.,- no light when a button is pressed?

Is it possible for them to open up the remote controller housing and spray the circuit board generously with a fast drying contact cleaner?

There's a WD with that variant that can be purchased from ACE HW.... Cost is about P350.

It worked on a couple of backup OEM remote controllers I have,- for a GS and for an MS....

Could work for you, too, as there is nothing much we can do if it is indeed an electronics issue.

update: finally nabuksan na unit ko[emoji4] may isang fuse na busted daw kaya hindi gumagana yung door lock mechanism.

saan/kanino pwedeng magpapalit?

parang meron akong nabasa 3yrs ago na nagpapalit ng remote para maging flip-type. sino po kaya yun?

umiilaw yung pilot light (blue led) sa loob nung car bro. meron ako niyan contact cleaner, kaso walang maalam magbukas nung key pahanap ako sa mga car related shops dun sa amin if they can do it...

Try mo palitan battery nung remote mo or use the spare remote kung meron

Hi. We got a 2011 montero sport gls v. And everytime na pinapatay yung engine niya nagiiba yung time and date and hindi na rin nagfufunction yung mga buttons niya sa steering wheel. Please help for those na nakaencounter na rin ng ganitong issues. Thanks and more power

Me = cleaned and tightened battery terminals hehe

If dirty battery terminal clean it by brushing to remove the residue and if loose, tighten it.
