I think kanya-kanyang trip lang yan. The 2.5K camera by tsikot is mounted at the LTO plates screw....may chance na manakaw although pwede yung DIY ng one of the forumers who cut out the plate cover. The one offered by the CASA is OEM kaya pricey and di ito mananakaw because it is mounted at the rear plate lamps replacing the OEM lamps. In order for it to be removed you have to open the trunk door and remove the back sidings to access it. Plus, assured ka na i-honor yung electrical warranty ng Mitsubishi lalo na sa MID, and this is my experience.
So it really depends on what you want, kung important sa inyo ang price, then go for the 2.5K camera, kung important sa inyo ang OEM and warranty not of the camera per se because lahat naman magbibigay ng warranty, but the warranty of the electrical/MID system, then go for the CASA or winterpine camera.

Thank you for the reply. I was told by my SA to use regular diesel, because base on their experience it maybe the cause of the excessive smoke. I do not have an issue on excessive smoke on idling.
One more thing I have a friend from other forum that works from shell refinery that their is not much difference regular diesel or v power diesel or max.
May SA also owns a Monty.
Mga sir,
I am going to get my monty by tom, my first concern is since this is our first diesel engine car. i am a bit bothered with the noise of the engine like what people used to say na pag diesel maingay daw ang makina. is this still true for the new monty?
please share some insights about the engine performance of the new montero4x2 gls-v
Are you planning on going to Inav to have your gps updated? I've compiled a slide show to help you get there.

I just past through Ortigas avenue there was quite a bit of flooding. I was driving 40km/h, I lost visibility for a full 2 to 3 seconds because of the back wash from the front tires. Is this normal?![]()
this was the first time i drove the monty through the floods of the metro and i must say that it handles itself pretty well for an SUV. The floods were not too high though, perhaps a foot at the deepest parts. What surprised me was how surefooted the vehicle was at varying speeds, anywhere from 20 to 100 km/hr was very manageable in the rain. Big props to the designers and engineers at mitsubishi!
Sir I just like to share that oem tires isnt a perfect match after all. On oem, I am running 140kph on my gtv's speedometer, but actual speed readings from 2 gps units read just 132kph. I tried 265 70 17 tires and my readings were identical (gtv's , 2 gps units) meaning, the stock tires are a bit small than what it should be. Changing to 265 70 will be perfect, giving you exact speedometer reading. Power and torque is negligible, we are just talking of 2.64 lbs of rotating mass. Change all the lug nuts with a performance nuts and it's gonna be all even.
