the actual unit doesnt have self levelling headlamps ,just an update to that full specs you were referring to.

Oh. So they have omited the HIDs from the GT-V? I didn't see any mention of them in the specifications and we just presumed that they were still included.

The HIDs were not mentioned because nanggaling na yun sa GLS SE. All features of the GLS SE are standard on the GTV, only those new features ang binanggit

Yes I thought so Sir Numbah. But I was referring to the Full spec sheet from the other day; not the ones with additional features.

In any case if there are HIDs; there will either be self leveling (manual leveling) or automatic leveling headlights device. The outlander with HIDs has auto leveling. I think vehicles in Europe with HID now have to have auto in addition to cleaning system

Ah OK Sir Zix. That is unusual. I would have thought they either had 'self' leveling or 'auto' leveling. Self leveling is easy to detect as there will be a dial inside the car. Auto leveling on the otherhand is dificult to detect especially in daylight or on a level road inside the vehicle.
So I am presuming that the SA told you there was no leveling device at all?

Is the new LCD head unit standard for GLS SE variant only or for all 2011 Montero Sport VGT? I am pondering in buying a 4X2 A/T 2.5 model but the dealer cannot really say if it has an LCD unit or the old 1 DIN HD. Thanks.

Checked it myself sir, there's no self and auto leveling on the vgt. My SA cant give any info on the vgt as of the moment, just told me to wait for the official launching.

are you referring to the monitor sir? all the three variants have them except for the 4x2 M/T

I suppose if there are no regulations here they just don't bother. In Europe, USA, Australia they have to install them with HIDs; and I see they are installed in the Malaysian and Thai versions too.
