there is a camera on the selection of the LCD.. Does this mean there is a backup camera? or you have to put it on your own?

if you want sir, i can ask for SAs of the dealer who's handling the display to assist you in test driving the Monty, so there wouldn't be any problem entering the AGCC. now entering the gates of Ayala Alabang Village, i believe you just have to inform the guard that your destination is the golf course and leave your driver's license.

I know that. HID projectors / Bi-Xenon projectors use DOT output. Some use ECE. Reflector type HID and reflector type halogen use E1.

For the 4X2 Montero, the output of the halogen projector is ECE. For the SE / GT-V, DOT.

I want to try the 2011 Montero and compare it to our 4X4 M/T.
yes, an actual test drive comparo coming from a pinoy between non vgt and vgt is greatly appreciated. hope you can share your experience.. considering the response time and torque as stated in the specs of the enhanced hi powered vgt engine. (although different transmission sila)

di kaya maglabas mitsu ng GT variant for the 4x4 MT and for the 4x2 MT?
like sa Thailand. may GT-V na kase :soon: same price pa din for the 4x2 MT? no change at all? maski simple MID for 2011? 3rd quarter pa daw ung vgt for the GLX. kasabay kaya ng enhanced Fortuner?

according to an SA manning the display at the AGCC, it is open to everyone. if you want i can ask an SA to assist you in test driving the unit so there wouldn't be any problem entering AAV and AGCC.

sir according to MMPC... do not discount the possibility of a VGT on a manual tranny. inumpisahan lang po nila sa A/T. now, if when... that's another question.

mga sirs, locally installed po ang rear spoiler. unlike the Ukraine Edition na inilabas nila last year where the rear spoiler is already installed before it hit the Philippine shore.

hindi ko pa ma-confirm sir if there was drilling done. check ko bukas yung actual unit. i let you know by then. with regards to warranty sir, it is still a 3-year, unlimited mileage rust warranty.

It was probably my fault as I may have used the term HID bi-xenon earlier in the thread rather than HID xenon. In general, bi-xenon's are illegal unless there are normal lights as backup, so most manufactuers declined to use them.

Legal form example: I think there was a BMW that used one pair of HIDs for both High and Low beam (and used an electrical deflector to control beam). But to keep within the law they had to install halogen bulbs as well just for the flashing an oncoming driver. This is because HIDs take a while to warm up and are not sutable for flashing. I think Jaguar use this system now.

For most HID xenon oem setups the HID xenons stay on when the high beam (halogen) is engaged. This is so when you go back to dipped position there is no risk of them being not up to correct colour/intensity.

For those who would like their normal halogen close to the colour of the HIDs, I would recommend Philips Blue Vision Ultra (4000k colour)

Mercedes Benz, Infiniti, Jaguar, Mini, Lamboghini, Ferrari and Lexus use Bi-xenon projector.

But for Lexus, there is a separate light for flashing.
