Regarding sa FD sir depende na lang din siguro yun sa variant. I've heard lot's of good FC's on the 1.8L.

Sir yes sir, Alabang din po kami, I'm not sure if it was yours, but I always see a RED Lancer EX in Alabang Town Center in-door parking. Sometimes I see one in Festival Mall as well.

It's good to see Lancer EX owners in the south because I seldom see one.

Yeah siguro nga mas matipid naman yung 1.8L, but I'm surprised na straightaway comparison ng 2.0L na FD at EX, lamang pala EX sa FC.

Ah ok, red nga yung sakin. One time nakapark ako katabi nung car niyo, nakilala ko dahil sa MLPH sticker. Hehe

Medyo marami-rami narin ako nakikita sa south area na EX, tapos mga 1 or 2 na Evo

How many horsepower does the motul sticker add ba? hehe, But seriously keep it stock na lang mas maganda pag nice and clean, not unless the sticker you put on is sponsoring you in one way or another, medyo cheesy imho, no offense meant.

haha.. yeah I agree on this, not unless sponsored ka talaga of the product.
keeping it clean is more elegant.

So glad that I got the EX.

I'll await the inputs from the happy EX users... used to own a 2.0 Rav4...and was really lucky to get a FC of 6km/ltr.... sure hope the 2009 GLS lancer does much better...

mahal na naman nang GAS these days....FC is definitely something to consider....am really hoping that the INVEC III CVT does the trick for this vehicle's setup (MIVEC 2.0)

Takot ako sa 2.0 dati pero yung GTA ko kaya ko yung 9km/l not bad for a 2.0

Mga sirs bago lang po ako dito sa tsikot and im planning to buy either an EX GT or Outlander GLX. Ask ko lang po how much and kung ano mas adviseable. Pang daily driving po sana. Also asking kung san ok na dealer and makakakuha ng murang price w/ discount for the car hehehe! Kung may ma rerefer po kayo. Nbasa ko din kasi mga horror stories from other grp mates from dealers such as in Pasong Tamo. I hope you can help me out.

This is good news dahil oras na magsimula yan eh magiging mura na ang Lancer EX sa atin dahil sa Thailand na kukuha malamang nang units ang MMPC.. For me ok lang to dahil ok lang naman gumawa nang units ang Thailand eh(look at the Montero Sport at Lancer GLX/GLS)..

After nung launch ng Lancer EX sa Thailand this year..This means kaya wala narin ang Lancer GLX-GLS na luma??

Im expecting mga 150-180K Pesos ang mababawas sa presyo nang Lancer EX GT-A,while sa ibang Lancer EX variants ay mga 50-80K Pesos ang mababawas sa presyo(kung mangyayari yang wish ko)...

what's really bugging me is how come the GT-A variant had to be priced that high as compared to it's other variants.

you could already get an Outlander just adding a couple more of thousands.

lucky me that I got mine during it's introductory price.

i'm taking note na walang pambato ang Mitsubishi when it comes to the B segment. getting the Colt for the Philippines/ASEAN is history na due to the MMC's limitations. So i think the Lancer snubnose should be able to soldier on...

BUT...

all that could change IF MMTh will be able to produce the 1.5 4A91, 1.8 4B10 and 2.0 4B11 for the Lancer EX's use and if there is a way for MMPC/MMTh to lower production costs... then the Lancer EX will be another successful model (and as common on the road like the Altis) :peace:

Most likely mga 1.8 at 2 liter variants lang ang gagawin dyan sa Thailand and not the 1.5 liter variant(masyadong risky to)..

Oh well at least magiging mura na ang EX GT-A at EX GT M/T nyan for sure again!!

actually, i think i posted WHY MMTh could not come up with the Lancer EX immediately after the global debut... i also quoted some articles regarding that also. try to back read my posts on this thread. If u can't find it, let me know... kwentuhan tayo with sir rhuwrx over coffee...

1.8 and 2.0? yep... that should be appropriate to strenghten its image...

but the mystery question unanswered until now is how... HOW come CMC (china motors corp)/Mitsubishi Motors Taiwan was able to produce the 1.8 4B10 MIVEC for their Lancer Fortis??? the only country in asia to sell the 1.8!

Malamang yung 1.8 liter variant ay di naman ganoon kaganda sa tingin ng big boss dyan sa Japan kaya Mitsubishi rito sa South East Asia decided to stick with the more potent 2 liter engine..
