Yup, that's it for the MX for now daw. It wasnt competitive daw kasi eh. Parang may market for those that want a cheap 2.0 (like myself) at 900k below and those that want the premium GTs and GT-As, according to the various sales reps i talked about. Oh btw, diamond motors and citimotors' service really sucks...am i the only one who noticed this?

dude, do you believe the sales reps..?! of course they will say that in order to sell the remaining stocks! my source ( VP mitsu phils.) said that the mx production will resume this month (june).. feature wise, the ex gls is way too BITIN.. and the interior really SUCKS! THE WOOD TRIM!
and by the way.. disc breaks are way better than drum brakes! so go figure it out! for xtra 30k? you cant trade it for your safety!

I agree with OUT-101. IMO Mitsu is pricing themselves out of the market with the GT and GT-A variants. I was looking at the most recent issue of TopGear, and just noticed that the Lancer EX GT-A is now priced at P1.375M, which is just around P50k lower than the 2.4G Camry (at around P1.43M)! Other 2.0L compacts (Civic, Altis, and Impreza except for the WRX and STI variants) are still in the P1.1M range. Very bad pricing on the part of Mitsubishi. Good thing I was able to get my GT-A at the first release price.

From what I've heard, disc brakes need a bit of warming up. But not sure about that.

Congrats pala on your GT-A. Yung rough ride sa lubak, normal lang yan kasi naka-18" rims ka. I've been contemplating getting some 18" rims for my MX, pero yung lubak sa pinas din ang iniisip ko kaya parang ok na lang yung 16" sa akin.

That is quite normal. Check tire pressure as well. Stock tire pressure from Japan is 41 PSI. You would need to reduce tire pressure to that indicated on the sidewall.

With regards to the sound during breaking, that is normal. The disks will develop a very thin layer of rust overnight. Your initial breaking cause the sound. Once cleaned of rust/dirt, the sound will be gone.

Congratulations on the new car. After 1k reading, redline na yan para proper break-in.

guyz it's me again, my another concern ako bout sa ex gt-a, bkit gnun wala pang 1000 km reading may warning na periodic inspection?.. nagwworry na kasi ako eh. hehe.. and guyz dba ung gt-a walang autolock ng doors? pwede kaya ipaautolock yun? thanks nga pla sa inyong lahat. Im proud being a member here..

guyz, last query na 2 bout sa gt-a ko, wala po ba talagang cruise control ang gta dito? kasi sa panel ng gt-a may nkikita akong cruise logo together with srs abs engine logo, etc. Gets nyo po ako? pls help me bout my queries.. thanks and more power..

Just got my new GLS all balck, super dark tint...hehehe! Really love the look of the car. Kahit stock lahat oks na ako. And yes i dont mind the drum brakes.,...i dont need all to be disc anyway, i dont drive like a maniac so stopping power is just fine for me. Wood trim is only flaw. Anyways, any tips guys for a new car owner? How to properly break in? What SHOULD be the avg. FC of a Lancer EX CVT? Where to apply that coat thing to maintain the color of the car? Thanks! will really appreciate the suggestions?

regarding sa autolocks maybe naka valet mode go to your dealer lang or sa winterpine tapos pa set mo nlng sa kanila yung autolock and for free lng yan.

sa logo naman sa panel not quite sure but since lahat ng lancer galing japan maybe you have those logos pero not applicable sa country or region natin.

If you want your Lancer EX to have a mirror finish as nice as in the picture below (NOT my car obviously, and my MX is beige), I suggest you put Meguiars NXT Tech Wax 2.0, then maintain with Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer. These are the 2 best products I've used on my car. Well, there's also Mothers FX Tire Shine to use to make the tires shine.

Ung sinasabi kong auto lock is yung sa fortuner kasi namin when u reach 20 kph nag aautolock ung LOCKS ng pinto.. yun ung tinatanong ko. Kasi yung GT-A ko is hndi nagaautolock. Kelangan pang ilock manually dun sa driver's side..
