AFAIK, only Citimotors knows that this unit already has fully synthetic oil when it leaves the Japan factory. The other dealerships stick to the "SOP" of changing the oil at 1K PMS... but that's only applicable to those from Thailand (non-synthetic oil from factory), and is a total waste of the synthetic oil.
Either that, or talagang pinagkakakitaan lang talaga nila yung first PMS. In contrast, i didn't pay a single centavo when I had my 1K PMS at Citimotors, no oil change and other b.s.!
guyz ask ko lang, pag sa morning ba tapos nagsteer kayo ng wheels or step sa brake wala ba lumalangit-ngit.. napansin ko lang kc every morning gnun.. pero pag tumagal na wala napo,. TIA
I think subject to misinterpretation ang 5k maintenance interval ng mitsu compared to 10k ng iba.
Ang sa honda naman kasi eh 10k or 6 months whichever comes first.
Their maintenance interval is probably based on the average mileage of people na they get 20k every year. You'd still come up to 2 tune-ups in a year.
Previously owned a Mitsu, and now a Honda, and considering this Mitsu Lancer EX, same lang ang interval ko sa maintenance. Still have a tune-up every 6 months, which is roughly when I get to 5k interval. So our car just went past 30k actual odo, but underwent 60k tune-up already.
dealer discretion ata to, though I was also wondering why * my 1st 1k break-in service, they didn't change my oil, as to what other people are saying, it should've been changed because of the residue build-up during brake in period.
my Service Assistant had to call MMPH to confirm that the 1st oil change is at 5,000km. Though some of my Lancer EX owner friends had theirs changed at the 1st 1000km.
Unionmotors Caloocan pala ako.

Yup sir stocks spring pa din...GTA po unit ko..kadadala ko lang kanina free naman daw ang check up nun i hope tightening lang..but for the 5k pms they will not completely drain the oil but instead they will replace only the oil filter plus oil top up since fully syn naman daw yung oil
elo po, mga bro, ask ko lang po, san po ba makakabili nung brake caliper cover na brembo? ganda po kasi eh. hehe..
hey guys! have you checked the latest pricelist of the EX Lancer?
http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com.ph/pricelist.php
its f*&%# crazy! the new MX with disk breaks is priced 60k more!whats even more insane, is that if its only the disk breaks was added, why on earth the GLX MT is prized 18k more only and GLS AT is prize 20k more only!
well, unless, more feature/s added to MX!but still its f*&%# crazy!

The message here is MMC wants to sell more of the low end variety, make the MX less appealing along the way. The GL series is now more than an even match to the other brands.
For a million +, the GT series then becomes more affordable in comparison, to at least the m/t variety.
