i find it really weird na walang button for the central locking of the doors. naka-abang lang. parang yun na lang, tinipid pa nila? eh very standard na yun sa lahat ng cars kahit sub-compact.

for me, ang laki ng lamang ng features ng Lancer EX sa 2.0S FD. Aux In lang ng FD ang lamang nya sa EX GT-A. Pwede naman siguro gawan ng paraan yun diba?

GANDA GANDA!!!! Pero para sakin medyo mahal, pero if I was still in the market looking for a car this is definitely one of them... Dapat gumawa sila ng 1.6 or 1.8L version that is priced in the P800K range to compete properly with Honda and Toyota. Normally sales of P1M compacts is not high and most of the sales are driven by the sub-million 1.6-1.8L category...

Ganda ng pictures mo din. Akin crappy nga quality eh, 1 step mass resize gamit ko kaya pumanget ang quality.

I am using a Nikon D40.

RE: Test drive:
Ang ganda ng engine sound! It's comfortable too despite of the 18" wheels. Yung 2nd row middle seats, di sya comfortable, but the rest is great! The rear boot is quite small though, badly beaten by the sub-compact Honda City.

Yung GT and MX walang map lights at lahat walang auto up and down power windows.

Onga pala noh... di ko napansin walang central lock button! Talagang sporty lang talaga... the rest of its features are

People are getting to be more concious about FC and it makes more sense for the Philippine market.

I understand your opinion sir... But I believe the Lancer is not for everybody just like in the 90's. The 1.5L is not going to be here because it's from Europe. But I do hope a 1.6L CVT will be available even without the paddle shifters.

Sa pricelist na nakuha ko, parang ang low end nila this time ay yung old stock brand new na lancer ilong, but heres hoping also na maglabas sila ng much lower end model sa MX nila.

The 4A91 1.5 MIVEC would have been a good idea- including the 1.8 MIVEC 4B10 but these are engines that are currently in production in Europe and according to an acquaintance with MMPC i believe that shiping an engine to Japan to bolt it into the car and ship it here will make it as expensive, if not more expensive than selling the 2.0 MIVEC models. I presume you guys don't want to buy a 1.5 MIVEC Lancer EX at P1 Million. BUT i quote in one of the articles circulated during the test drive that (Philippine Star yata...) that there are serious plans of assembling the Lancer here and in my opinion, can be a provider for the ASEAN region. The Cainta Plant is underutilized and this model could revive the plant and maybe, a manufactring plant can opt and assemble engines (depending on what the plant can be capable of producing)!

Also, i read somewhere in this threads that Mitsubishi is selling the Lancer EX in India with the VW sourced TDI engine? actualy, no. Mitsubishi's conservative line-up in India consist of the (more-than-a-decade-old) Pizza Lancer, the recently launched Cedia (a year ago), an aged Pajero Fieldmaster body and (BK) Pajero go to their website << http://mitsubishi-motors.co.in >> If this Diesel Pocket Rocke still claims to be on sale there, then its probably a gray market model and that would be feasible for them to sell it since India is closer to MMC's European headquarters in Netherlands (NedCar).

No power lock switch and no auto up/down power windows for the Lancer EX??? actually, that is one thing na hindi ko maintindihan with the MMPC since the Outlander has it!

No Aux in outlets and No Leather??? i think i can live without it for now... since Leather Seat covers have been discussed on the Outlander thread then i think it might be feasible!

As of now, lets all be lucky that we have the Lancer EX na po... we have waited for a long time for this.
