    e10, regular or premium unleaded would do fine. in my case, regular unleaded lang kami.

    saw the glx model of the new lancer. basically it's a stripped down manual version of the ex-mx. hindi painted yung door handles and side mirror pods. less trim inside. would make a good platform if you intend to mod your car little by little.

    as for cvt or manual, it more a personal preference imo. with the stop and go traffic in my area, i opted for a cvt. my wife likes it too bec it's one less thing to worry about when she drives.
    Thanks for the great info sir!!!
    I agree with the advantages of the CVT over the manual in terms of the traffic situation in the metro... but how about maintaining the manual vs. the CVT (given normal conditions and normal driving situations)?

    ganda talaga ng lancer and outie.. hirap mag decide!

    GT-A will have the spoiler. You will have to ask casa to remove it. If you plan on slowly modding your car, get the lancer ex - MX variant. Same CVT without the body kits, the RF sound system, rear disc brakes.

    gta driving questions:

    pag traffic po sa fly over or pa akyat sa parking ng mall, naka "d" lang siya and switch to neutral pag nag full stop, other wise brake and accl. pedal nalang?

    i just found out yesterday na nag antay pa ng shipping ng gta so medyo matagal pa ako mag antay

    nakakapraning na antayan to!

    with regards sa color pwede po ba mag mini poll?

    1st choice = white
    2nd = black
    3rd = red

    can i ask you opinion please..

    tia!

    re gasoline afaik,

    e10 = 10% ethanol and 90% gasoline and additives (not sure about the octane number pero it shouldn't be less than 93 RON)
    silver or any other regular unleaded = 100% gasoline and additives (93 RON)
    gold or any other premium unleaded = 100% gasoline and additives (95 RON)

    for my car, as i said before, ok na yung regular unleaded kasi nagtitipid ako.

    re maintenance, am not really sure. first time to get a CVT but i have an automatic (toyota) that's 6 years old na that has not given me problems.

    re color, black is a pita to keep clean. red may be the same. yung white naman, mahirap pakintabin owing to the nature of the color. walang depth kumbaga. for me, silver is the easiest color to maintain. hides scratches, swirls, and dirt very well.

    re driving a cvt/automatic may thread niyan dito. search mo na lang. the short answer is just leave it in D and drive away! ako neutral plus handbrake pag full stop.

    re outie or lancer, depends on your needs and wants yan. either way, you'll be getting a very good vehicle.

    thanks so much sir! i just love these two vehicles for their looks both can carry 5 people and i guess will offer a comfy and fun ride naman so looks nalang talaga.. although mas pwede sa biglaan na baha yung outie hehe
    regarding the color, silver din para sakin is the practical choice.. pero kung porma, black is a good one!

    Lancer is featured in the january top gear issue.
    it is pitted against the new 2.0 Corolla (now with paddle shifters!!) and the 2.0 Focus.

    Gearbox was the key item tested, therefore the Focus won with its amazing dual clutch system.
