kung nabili ako ng ganito tapos pakabitan ko na lang bodykits, leather seats, and new mags + lcd hu mas makatipid kaya ako?

no. I plan to keep it close to stock. If I wanted the bodykits, I would have bought the GT-A instead.

definitely will not go over a foot deep of flood. di ko na tinatawid seeing lagpas muffler ng ibang cars. just not familiar of the locations of the other ecus or anything that could go potentially wrong just because it's a matic versus manual tranny.

noticed I am less agressive driving a matic so would like to change the driving habits ang go with matic but kamusta naman reliability ng invecs transmission? just thinking about resale in the long term.

yep whole heartedly agree. wag mo isapalaran auto mo sa foot deep flood. as with modern invecs just stick to the recommended maintenance schedule and proper use and it should be more than fine.

Problem with the RF Setup is that of compatibility issues. You can't use the RF Amplifier with a different HU in which the separates and the sub woofer are connected. It ain't compatible. You gotta change the whole works from HU, Amplifiers, Subs, and Separates.

2 GT-A users already confirmed this and had their Rockford Setup removed.

If people have gone great lengths in removing the stock RF setup, there must be a reason there. Akala ko ba sabi sa mga review ok ang sound ng stock RF sa Lancer?

i have the RF in my Lancer. imo, there is nothing wrong with this set-up if you are a typical, ordinary music listener like me. SQ/SPL is definitely decent for something that is OEM. (remember, the Lancer is still the best in class as far as stock sound systems go.)

of course, there are audiophiles who want more for their cars hence they see the need to replace the existing sound system. matter of personal preference na lang yan. nothing wrong with that either. besides, if you have the money, why not, di ba?

parang mods din yan. some people prefer to keep their rides stock bec they are happy with their Lancers. others need a little more to set their ride apart from the rest. no argument there.

Definitely a big difference in terms of improvement from stock sound setups that are factory supplied. Tweeter placement itself improves imaging already. Considering Rockford Fosgate has been in the business for quite sometime already. I can say that the RF setup that came with the GT-A / Outlander is not designed / tuned specifically for an SQ setup but it gives the listener an added dimension in terms of listening pleasure whether be it SQ or SPL.

Personally coming from a couple of (extreme SQ setups) from my previous rides, suffice to say that I've already stopped wasting extra money already.

You can't compare really aftermarket installed setups with the RF setup. It's like comparing apple to apple pie. Just my 0.02.

Those removing the RF mas have a really deep wallet. (Why fix it when it's not broken)

But if you aren't happy on how the RF Setup sounded then by all means remove it and install aftermerket sound setup. As long as what you hear satisfies you.

That's why one of the reasons I got the GT-A because of the RF Setup. It would justify my urge not to install/change my setup again. Even if I got the MX I know I'd surpass the GT-A price difference after installing my preferred SQ equipment, by the end of the day I already saved my self a couple of hundred thousands of bucks already.

Speaking of sounds set up, ano bang magandang HU na double din ang babagay sa MX? iniisip ko kasi magpapalit nalang din ng panel kuha nako ng may DVD like yung mga naka post sa taas. Magkano ba abutin at may iba bang brand aside from pioneer na mas mura pero ok rin? nasa 30k yung na reearch ko na model

Sa pagkaalam ko ang main difference kaya mas mura ang DVH series ay wala itong touchscreen LCD monitor, added expense mo ito kung gagamitin mo para sa movies, saka di ko sure kung may touchscreen functionality pa kapag nag-add ka ng monitor. At least yung AVH kasama na yun.

Did some canvassing yung AVH3250 nasa 20k lang sa suki ko sa banawe, plus panel, plus yung gadget para ma operate ung steering controls. 5K daw

^ Tama mga ganyan ang price nyan pati panel and interface. Research mo na rin ang difference between 3250 and 4250 para sure na hindi ka bitin sa 3250 based sa features na hanap mo.
