Binalik na pala ang MX, and almost same price as before. Although nung bumili ako, right before ma-"phaseout" for a while, 930K ang net price kasi may 60K discount.

About the CBU thing, that info came from Citimotors. I asked if their display unit of GT-A, with the new front design (Ralliart-style), and the GLX with new 10-spoke 16" rims, were already local assembled... the sales guy said no they're still Japan CBU.

GLS, GLX, MX, GT-A plus RA and Evo X will be the variants sold here. all except the RA and Evo X are being assembled in Cainta hence the reduced prices.

GT models will only be sold til stocks run out. japan made pa mga ito.

Actually, yung mga smoked-type tailights/headlight and 10 spoke rims (for GLX/GLS) are 2010 models. I know this kasi late last year, nakabili yung kakilala ko ng GLS. 2010 model na yung mga smoked-type. Also, all wheel disc na din lahat ng ex (from glx to gta)

I inquired from Carworld Pampanga about the MX, the price is 1.120M (less 58k discount). Sa Union Motors Caloocan naman sabi wala na raw MX. kaya nga i posted/asked earlier why prices are different from different distributors of the same product. kaya nakakalito I you were to buy na. but anyway, may i ask if the ones they're selling are 2010 MX or just leftovers? and malaki ba difference nya sa GLS? thanks.

the SA's were supposed to go through some training... i drove a test drive unit of the GLS variant yesterday and it indicated a product knowledge training last Feb 12... those who are giving topsy turvy answers are those who DIDN'T to that training.

*Baguhan222 - Thailand sourced Lancers would probably be the Cedia/Snubnose body. the SA probably didnt express himself fully or probably a newbie on cold knuckles... hehehe...

So 1.062M ang discounted ng MX... while the GT-A goes for 1.140M after the 155K discount.

On the other hand, may mga nakausap akong sales agent na alam lahat ng itanong ko (although na-research ko na rin yung mga tinatanong ko, it helps to know which one of the agents know most about the car, at sa kanya masarap bumili).

agree with that sir... it is a test of both skill and character... what is important is how the dealer supports its sales staff and how the sales staff use what they have learned and research further.

as for the hot babe... hehehe... i go for beauty with brains kung sakali- yung tipong sasagot na tulad sa beauty pageant.

kaya nga po, minsan whenever i inquired lumalabas mas marami pa ko alam lalo na sa updated features ng EX kesa SA's. kaya i firmly believe na it only takes a bit of research para di maloko or maengganyo na bumili agad.
by the way po, as i asked earlier what are the basic specs of the 2010 MX (esp the ones that's being added, if there's one)? thanks po uli.

AFAIK, the MX has the GT-A features (specs available at Mitsu Phils website) MINUS:

    - Rockford Fosgate 9.1-speaker audio system
    - Ralliart-style front grille/bumper/airdam
    - bodykit (rear spoiler, side skirts)
    - sport seats with bigger side bolsters
    - 7 airbags (MX only has 2)
    - aluminum pedals
    - front maplights

When I bought my MX, the price difference with the GT-A was 300K, and I got the Upgrade Package promo which included LCD/DVD headunit and subwoofer. So it was a no-brainer choice.

Now, it seems that it's less than 100K difference. So if I were just buying today, I would really really consider getting the GT-A instead, coz the feature differences I highlighted above are definitely worth more than 100K.
