Both my wife and the kids are looking at me with puzzled expressions. I told them to bring sweaters (and pants) because summers at the California Central Coast are cool and chilly. The locations there might hit upper 60's F for a few hours and then gradually start dropping back down to 50 F at night. I lived there for a number of years. But, they don't seem to want to believe me. Fine. But, I'll be pissed if they turn on the heater (at the motel) at night.

I'm laughing inside when they started talking about swimming at the beach. Brrrr.
