Every weather agency accurately predicted uls will bring heavy rains.

I posted here according to all forecasters amateurs and pro alike were predicting ondoy 2 water level.

    Sila hinde nila alam?

Doppler yata tawag doon sa nag predict ng rains and we have that placed strategically para nga malaman.

Not buying na wala na receive na data about sa amount ng ulan mga tao nun dam.

And near spilling level na days before yung dams. Kahit konti lang binawas nila baka naka mitigate sana.

tsaka tagal nang nakatayo ng ng Magat. Mayroon na dapat guidelines na established for when to release the tubig, especially when approaching alarm levels, and with incoming additional load. Its either, the current guidelines are established by incompetent people, or there is some gross neglect, leading to the end result.

the magat dam official appears at the 15 minute mark of the vid

thinking if i should proceed cleaning the car later since it's under a garage roof naman. tapos na iyong interior w/ all the carpet cleaning and leather reconditioning i've done a few days ago.

Ulysses was a freak of a typhoon and with our local infrastructure, it would be more than a stretch to deal with it. Even the US suffered tragic effects of hurricanes like Katrina in New Orleans and Harvey in Houston. Like in Japan, all their preparation against earthquakes was not enough against the 2011 disaster.

We build to prevent the last tragedy that happened but we can’t predict how devastating future typhoon will impact us. Until such time that most people will opt to live far from waterways, the threat of flooding will always be there. In all of mankind’s history, people always thrive near rivers and waterways but these same sources of water may bring forth destruction.

I approve na nila yung Kaliwa weir project para di na ma pressure yung dam management magstock ng tubig kahit near spilling level na.
