and before all of us forget, GMA have publicly admitted in national television of calling a comelec official during election period. although she did not mention that it was garcillano she was talking to, the mere fact that she apologized for her action means she really did something wrong. isn't this enough a ground for impeachment?

as I've before.... nowhere in the Omnibus Election Code does "talking to a COMELEC official" deemed illegal.

it maybe inappropriate for some - and her apology was directed to those that felt that way.

i think this point is what most anti-gloria people fail to see. so what kung na-wiretap sya and na-release sa public? its still not admissible in court. kaya mahina talaga ang kaso for impeachment since walang strong evidence to support their claims.

yup... and as what niky said - if this will become admissible in court - this will set a very bad precedent.

So how can we know the truth if Malacanang is using all their resources to block the impeachment case against GMA? Oh well, I think this will be an endless debate. She can hide on legal technicalities, but she can't hide that a lot of people are disgusted by her

If the opposition really wants the truth - why didn't they push the electoral protest of FPJ after he died through Ping Lacson? They had their chance and they bungled it - now they are trying to make it up by acting like cry babies & amateurs.

Even if you push through with the impeachment - it will still be a numbers game (remember the unopened envelop during Erap's trial?). Remember that to impeach PGMA, you need a 2/3 vote of the Senate.
