i have an offer of an elisco made m16 with collapsible buttstock and g. launcher around 120k. what to check in buying one in terms of functionality? bolt carrier assy? barrel? i have not seen the unit, check ko pa lang pag-uwi ko sa katapusan. for the price, its quite high but im more interested in the lower receiver being elisco made assuming na orig nga. any inputs are appreciated.

August 12th, 2015 08:21 PM #586Tooooo expensive....just bring it to a gunsmith first to chk the barrel, reciever etc if its modified In any way, you dont need a m203, ammo is hard to come by....better get a licensed Norinco M4, last time i chk pre-purisia time it was 80k bnew....now you choose a 30-40 year old elisco or a bnew norinco, but if you have the means, buo ka nalang for 200k with premium parts.

stay away from it, most likely illegal yan or buy bust operation yan. g.launchers are not allowed for civilian so pag nahuli ka bumibili yari ka and maka kuha ka man di pwede kuhanan ng license. plus elisco's are cheap you can get an orig m16 elisco for around 60k.

August 13th, 2015 06:28 PM #590^no, it's not because it's difficult. under ra10591 or its IR, only small arms maybe licensed or registered to an individual.
Class A light weapon, which m16 falls under (5.56 mm), cannot be licensed anymore unless you are a previous licensed or registered owner of one.
So it's another case of "pwede na iyan" once again. It's that kind of thinking that will put...
