I'm impressed! Are you an engineer or contractor? Exact nga yung measurement mo kasi I divided the number of bricks he said by the area I wanted na may pavers. Yung sa gilid kasi hindi ko papalagyan kasi may mga halaman so I thought it would be cheaper pa, kung pinasagad ko pa mas lalo na pala ko magulat sa price

Anyway, my bicol lab only lies down in the area near the small gate, plus my MOm wants to keep the area soil kasi it smells daw pag cement tapos may dog. Papapalitan ko yung bermuda kasi namatay na from my fat lab peeing on it ata or because of age.

    bricks P30
    white sand P40
    sack Cement P250
    sack red cement 100
    theform bar P200 each
    grass sq m P150
    sack garden soil P80

Yung grass and garden soil mukhang okay na

where is this plantation of yours? in the city, or in the province?

Not a contractor, just learned it from my engineering background.
For that 2.5 square meter of pavement, you will need 2 bags of cement, 5 bags of sand and 10 bags of gravel assuming about 4 inches of depth of the pavement. For that small area, one day is very sufficient to complete the pavement.
Happy to help you and avoid paying too much for this small job. You are doing a good job by setting up your budget.

Pwede ka ba tawagan? J/K Sana mabasa mo agad reply ko

Parang ino over price ata ako ng landscaper. He did admit that a mason would do a better job. For 2.5 sq meters he quoted this. Ang suplado pa when I said kung may discount pa and he said irritably wala na. Hindi naman siya yung boss/owner. WTF. My Mom also heard it and she said these people sound rude

    1/4 gravel P1500
    1/4 white sand P1500
    3 bags cement P750
    Labor P1500

    TOTAL P5200

Ganyan ba talaga for 2.5 sq m?!? WTF Saka bakit equal parts yung white sand and gravel. Yours 1:2 (of course I will trust the engineer!)

    I'm in Dubai hehehe.
Seems okay naman yung quote not sure lang sa local prices ng cement, sand and gravel. I used type C of concrete mixture the lowest type since pavement lang yan no heavy traffic. the ratio of sand and gravel in all type of concrete mix is 1:2. Yung quantity nya na 1/4 cubic meter (I believe) gravel is correct for the concrete mix na kailangan mo yung sand kalahati lang dapat.
I think ang labor sa ncr is 800 per day so yung 1500 is malamang 2 tao gagawa - 1 mason and 1 helper.

There is no point in doing business with people whom you don't like ... you're just going to have headaches ... and they won't do a good job since they don't like you either ...

Agree with gongrhey, pwede na yan, but also agree with Walter, may attitude ung tao, but then, simple job lang naman yan, which will take less than a day....

Ayaw mo ba ung pavers? 17/pc ata bili ko or around 500/sq meter, papantayin lang ang lupa and patong lang, kung grass growth ayaw mo, just lay a black plastic over the ground first before laying the pavers.

Pavers have the look & 'green' advantage. Laying a plastic barrier will cancel the latter, ground absorption of surface water. Without sunlight, weeds shouldn't be a problem.[emoji4]

Oh my, nagulat ako sa P5k+ for 2.5 sq m.

I am wondering nga why he is so sungit. Was it because I did not tip him for the estimate?

Pavers yung una kong plan e P36k for the whole area, ang mahal, ang price niya per brick is P30 each and he needs 800 pieces

    bricks P30
    white sand P40
    sack Cement P250
    sack red cement 100
    theform bar P200 each

You can’t just use cement on its own. To use as floor pavement, you need concrete which is cement mixed with sand and gravel. Now, to make it more durable (reinforced concrete), you need steel bars so that it won’t crack. Plus you have to consider the finishing as base reinforced concrete is a bit raw and not good to look at.

Yes, you also to move some soil out so that you can have a flat floor and make the surface even.
