Last time I saw something like that is when I was a child. Lagi ko nakikita sa bintana namin na kahoy. Since then hindi na ko nakakita ng ganyan. Ano kaya tawag dyan at bakit bihira na sila?

i am reminded of the UP Diliman sunflowers.
their gardening experts have timed the planting,
such that they are in full bloom during the annual graduation exercises.

Actually out-of-season talaga sya since patapos na summer ko sya plant. On a whim lang din since i saw packets of sunflower seeds being sold in the hardware. Siya lang ang nag flower [emoji23]

i wonder, what does it need, to successfully flower?

according to what i've read, it just needs sunlight and ample watering. medyo iwasan nga dapat daw ang over watering kaya medyo gulat ako kasi tag-ulan na nag flower pa din siya.

and it's toxic to other plants kaya naman pala wherever they're planted, siya lang talaga ang dominant plant doon. and isang beses lang siya mag -flower and then dedz na siya
