Personally i do believe it matters especially finding that first elusive job...but sadly I can't convince my kids to get themselves to study to these schools? Sabi sa akin bakit daw ako hindi naman daw galing sa top schools in NCR.
Kung parehong may experience na ang mga applicants...for me attitude is more important because I just selected a guy who's experience is lesser than the other last week.

di ka naman ordinary employee eh
you have capital invested in real estate so that makes you different from employees who are dependent on only 1 source of income
you have income from your real estate investments so that makes you a capitalist. A rentier to be more precise
Rentier - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A rentier (/ˈrɒnti.eɪ/ or /rɑ̃ˈtjeɪ/) is a person or entity that receives income derived from economic rents, which can include income from patents, copyrights, brand loyalty, real estate (land), interest or profits; this is a transfer of the French term rentier with a change of meaning from "one who derives income from rentes", i.e. in a French context, state bonds
Yun naman yung tamang path. Save and invest. Any employee should strive for that.
Real estate is capital-intensive, but dun sa wala pang ganun kalaking savings, stocks are a cheaper option.
Kung yung empleyado pinapatulog lang sa banko yung pera niya, or worse, walang savings, then he'll never be wealthy.

The angry hobo feeding on entitlements is really not entitled. He is feeding on government handouts. Where I am at, these hobos drive nicer cars than mine. The people on welfare/food stamps are richer than the working middle class.
Nakiki wi-fi lang

Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
as compassionate societies evolve inevitable talaga ang govt spending on social safety nets
there's a limit to how low (standard of living) a society is willing to allow its people to live
kaya naimbento ang social safety nets like food stamps, conditional cash transfer, free health care etc coz in any society there will be people who cannot pull their own weight
in a purely Darwinian society people who cannot pull their own weight will be left to die
speaking of magwheels meron kami sideline
we would buy wheels and tires online and ship them here via balikbayan box (for personal use)
kuripot kasi kami ayaw namin magpataga sa mga tindahan dito hehe
friends would ask us saan namin nabili so meron mga nagpabili sa amin
that's how it started
employees who worked years in a company would naturally learn the ins & outs of the business the company is engaged in
there are employees who use what they learned to go into business on their own while other employees stay where they are
they all know the business
the difference is guts
and ambition
meron mga ahente nagbukas ng used car dealership (or used car lot)
nag umpisa sila ahente sa casa
pag nag ahente ka ng brand new cars definitely mag a-ahente ka din ng used cars coz you will have clients who will ask you to sell their used cars
you will learn malaki ang kita sa pagbenta ng used cars
most car agents remain agents while other agents open used car dealerships
pareho naman ang knowledge nila about the business so ano difference nila?
meron lang mga mas may ambition and have guts to act

The problem is that under that premise, it assumes that people are incapable of voluntarily giving to charity and require govt to do that job through coercive means i.e. more tax
The greater irony is that those who claim to be "liberal" (those that want handouts) give less to charity compared to "conservatives" (branded as greedy and stingy)
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
