Know this though: the top companies here in PH will only consider graduates from the top 3 universities.

To be fair to the "top" universities, they do have better facilities. This advantage is especially obvious when you take up a technical course. And the best minds/teachers also tend to gravitate to the better universities, for the same reasons.

Back in HS, we only had two sessions of basic computer training monthly; some schools had programming as part of their currirculum as early as junior HS. Result? nagkandarapa mga schoolmates ko when we were in college, for the other guys it was just like an extension of their HS.


imho, if you can afford it, go to the better universities; if you can't afford it, prove the naysayers wrong
