Dunno now, pero I advise on a limited basis ang gamit. Like, non-major streets. Kasi, ako rin maiinis na may gagawa ng major traffic jam sa road eh wala panamang plaka...(not that I'm saying you will cause something, though, he he)

It takes a week or two.

Hi! I’m new here. I’m planning to buy my own mazda 3 this month or next month kaso nalilito talaga ako sa mga offers ng different branches, hindi ko alam if good deal na ba or di pa. Wala akong alam sa cars so any help/info would be greatly appreciated.

    hello,

My best advice would be..to hold your cash/purchase for a few more months. Why? it's because Mazda3 new 2010model is about to come to our shore. Remember Car is about year model not really how old the car is.

The smiling face isn't as bad when you've seen the car in person.

I have, and the new 3 looks great.

I think you're right, even my 2008 mazda 3 doesn't look good in pictures in many angles. It's not photogenic. But in personal, looks really good!

BTW, do you have any idea about the actual FC of new M3 in City and Highway in Malaysia/Singapore?

I'd think the majority of FC changes from the old mazda3 to the new one will depend on the engine/transmission because the actual body isn't so much lighter than the outgoing model.

Medyo panget lang that for a relatively heavy car, there's no slated 1.8L engine option, giving the base end 3's the lowest power-weight ratio in its class:

    1.6/1.8L segment
    Altis - 109HP, 1170 KG (1.6E MT)-1205 KG (1.6V AT)
    Civic - 140HP, 1200 KG (1.8V MT) - 1235 KG (1.8S AT)
    Lancer (old) - 110HP, 1140 KG (GTS/GLX)

    2.0L segment
    Altis - 141HP, 1250 KG
    Civic - 155HP, 1295 KG
    Lancer EX MX - 155HP, 1335 KG

The Mazda 3 slots in the 2.0 segment at a very decent P:W ratio, given that it's body+engine will be in the 1330-1360KG range (based on brochures). Pero mukhang makakawawa yung 1.6L variant - 1300-1330 KG range, pero 100-115hp max lang :/

How about the 0.29 drag coefficient(more aerodynamic) of the new M3 + 5 AT. This should contribute to Highway FC improvement.

I think the new M3 is 150kg less curb weight than the current one. It Should have slight improvement in power to weight ratio. This should also contribute to both City and Highway FC improvement. But don't know the actual figures(the one's measured by owners of new M3)

I read somewhere on the net that only the 2.0L and up models (which never had the P-W ratio problem to begin with) get the 5AT, and that the 1.6L is still stuck with the 4AT.
