    thanks for all the info. by the way, totoo ba na water lang ang dapat ipanglinis for the first 6 months of the car dahil naka-wax na ito pag labas sa mazda casa?

    Subject: Speed3 review from a Honda Owner's perspective
    ================================================== ======
    I have had my Speed3 a week and half now and put about 270 miles on it. This is my first Mazda, before this I had an Integra gsr with bolt-on mods, and we still have a S2000. The mileage has been mostly in town (Atlanta traffic) and a bit of highway. Coming from small displacement, high revving engines, the disi turbo engine is a revelation. Rather than two downshifts to get any power, you just step on the gas. The first few days, I revved the engine too high (between 5-6K rpms) until I got used to it and now I generally shift down a little past 4000. Before, I rarely let my Integra ever fall below 4,000 and would shift at 6000 to 7000! It makes for a more relaxing driving experience.

    The suspension is perfect for me. Not too harsh, but still responsive enough for performance driving. Only on really bad road surfaces did things get uncomfortable, but pretty much any car would have a problem at that point. The steering feel is better than the Integra, which felt a bit light. The Speed3 feels more like the S2000 in terms of its weight, but with a slower ratio -which is good because sometimes the S2000 can get tiresome because it demands constant attention.

    The shifter and clutch is ok, but neither is as good as on the Integra and certainly not as good as the S2000, which is my favorite of any car I have ever driven. The clutch take up point took a bit of getting used to but now it's fine. The shifter is ok, but just feels a bit light and rubbery.

    The overall package of size and layout and practicality is great. The car holds a lot, is good for four people, the controls work well and are easily used. The stereo sounds great to me, but I'm not a stereo guy and often I would just turn it off on the Integra (it had a catback) or the S2000(it's just loud). I give it top scores in these categories. Overall, it's a great car and I could not more pleased with it. I will be interested to see how the maintenance and dealer service goes.

    just avail of the paint protection program, no need for rustproofing

    well, casa has alot of freebies with the car... complimentary free swirls and paint blemishes What I do whenever we get a new car is I clay it, apply a paint cleaner/swirl remover, cleaner wax, polish, and then apply high grade wax. It may take a day to do this initially, and some require some repetition to achieve the shine you want...

    the 2.0 mazda 3 is a great car. love riding my friend's car. if i were to get my own wheels, maybe soon, this would be one of my options.

    the 2007 is so nice. love the 2.3 litr version. i don't know, i doubt if it will come out. to me mazda doesn't release new vehicles here often. and how i also wish that they had more vehicle options to buy instead of just the 3, 6, and the tribute.

    hi miLes and all, can you explain this some more? Haven't been in one yet kasi. Would this be felt also in their 1.6 variant?

    TIA

    hey peeps... i have a little question...

    was driving back to pick my my bro and his friends from breakfast over at tagaytay when i decided to dropby tagaytay starbuck to pick up a cup of coffee... so anyhow i saw a grey mazda 3 it looked different it had the same body shape but the tail lights were different it had tons of LED lights... i just saw the back end coz i was driving out of the parking lot... got out of parking lot and as i pulled out to the hway a car masked with white tape? or protective plastic (you know when theyre transporting new cars or trying to hide something underneath it, just like the new civics that were driving around tagaytay before they were officially released) so ok i recognized it as the same mazda 3 but then only part of the headlight was showing just enough maybe that when they turn on the headlights it would still be useful as it passed me the rear end was also covered by the protective white covering.
    i wanted to know if they did some minor cosmetic changes on the 3? coz the new tail cluster or was it and aftermarket set? looks pretty cool!
