ser daimengrui, mas maganda 2nd. gen Mazda6, very nice inside, alot more spacious without being too bulky, agile handling too, definitely more grunt (but refined) under the hood. and fuel economy that's on par with the Camry & Accords 2.4. it wouldn't be a bad choice over the MZ3 at all. kaya nga lang out of my budget na, haha.

I'm newbie here. Need help. Have a 2006 M3R 2.0L techno grey. Thinking of changing wheels. Original is 205/50x17. Can't decide what to install. Options are: 235/40X18"-8.0" (evo-spirit); 235/35X19"-8.0" (evo-spirit); 225/30X20"-8.5" (turismo). Guys in DUB Shop do not recommend 225/30X20 because of local road conditions. Magiging tunog "lata" daw. What do you think?

Anybody here who is helpful to make sensible suggestions? Salamat po.

I am referring to people wanting 18" rims in general not just you. And may I remind you the topic is Mazda 3 and not about tires. You should go to The More Than Looks section of this forum as you are very beyond topic.

You want my honest advice? Stick to the 17" rims and lower your carbon footprint better for the environment you're also ensuring there's a world left for your children. Image isn't always everything. 18" is unnecessary in Philippine roads when your driving a sedan anyways.

You are referring to people wanting 18" rims in general and not just me? Pa-carbon footprint ek-ek. Kung gusto mo mag-preach about better environment, fossil fuel use and emission control dapat. Is this the way you give suggestions to people not so knowledgeable about cars? "Ser"? Salamat na lang sa honest advise mo. You may be half-right sa environment effect ng 18" rims. Pero completely off sa image issue.

Just look at how you react. Yeah my quip is about all the rave about 18" mags could have been condescending but it wasn't that at all rude or even a pinch of sarcasm instead I am musing as to why people in this rough times opt for wasteful spending when you can use the money to spend on other things. You're the one who used the words hambog when you said yourself you have little knowledge of cars. If you're not open to criticisms what's the point of asking for opinions? Might as well go ahead and do what you wanna do and buy your rims.

Bottomline what I'm saying is that 18" mags are totally unnecessary in our roads and what are you planning to do with your 17" rims when theres nothing wrong with it? In this tough economic times nobody will buy extra set of rims and for sure your extra stock will just collect dust in your garage (if you have any).

Doesn't matter who owns the thread most forum members here have read the rules and are adherent to it, as a community every member has the obligation to ensure it is followed. You obviously didn't because unang post mo palang off topic na.

People here have strong opinions, some are more appalling than others. In this day and age of modern thinking and objectivity it's not okay to be Pikon.

On to another topic I heard magkaka last minor model change ang 2009 Mazda 3, so talagang pipigain nila hanggang sa huli ang first gen na ito bago nila ilabas ang 2nd gen.

    Caveat:

I'm glad the 05,06/07 models are selling in the 450, 500k and 600k levels respectively. Meron bumababa sa 500 pero rush sale. This means our first gen 3 resale value is almost as good as the Civic's.

I was able to haggle a 2.0 Mazda 3 06 model with 30k mileage for 550k for a friend.

No wonder, you're #3 tsikot member.

I hope tsikot moderators would take note of how you handled my posts. Maraming salamat.

What a great ride! Just got my 3 this evening and all i can say is it's worth it. 1.6V na black, plus I got a great deal to boot! 93.5k all-in (all I could afford really) plus 17300 M.A. * 60 mos. Freebies include: 3M Tint, Matting, Seat Cover, 1000 & 10000 PMS, Unlimited ERA for 1 year, LTO, Chattel, Compre Insurance with AOG, Rain Visors (not sure ano tawag dun) and Rear Back-up Sensors (4 pcs plus indicator sa rearview mirror)

Looking forward to learn more about the ride and keeping it riding like it is for years...

Man, I don't usually speed-up when cornering (since I used to drive a Pick-Up, so unless I wanted to roll over I couldn't even try if I wanted to ), but I love going faster when cornering just to test the limits of the 3!

One more thing, if anyone is looking for a great ride and a great deal, don't hesitate to PM me.
