Still looks really good inside... and I agree... sobrang cute ang Sublime Green...

I've never tried blaze or velocity, my SA said to me to use only 93% octane rating unleaded gas. pero parang minsan bitin yun hatak.

If you are using shell unleaded bitin talaga sa hatak. Experience ko yan sa 2.0 R na daily drive ko.

    Ako whenever possible petron xtra.

Mazda changed a few things here and there under the body. Supposedly, the Mazda3 is now somewhat stiffer and they've retuned the suspension to take advantage of it.

Seems they tuned the shocks softer to take advantage of the stiffening... it still feels planted and body control and handling are still at the top of the class, but there seems to be more body movement over undulations than before.

A good contrast is the Focus... while the Focus received a slight cosmetic update, the suspension is unchanged... which means it now actually feels a bit stiffer than the Mazda3 (at least on the same 205/55R16 tires... I don't know about the new Mazda3 2.0R).

ive tried all 3 gasoline, caltex gold, petron blaze, and shell vpower...the best yung blaze, macocompare mo talaga sa regular unleaded dahil hindi hirap...parang bagong labas sa casa yung auto...pero eversince may nabasa nga ako na bad for the car yung higher octane, regular na lang din gamit ko and masyado na din mahal premium unleaded sa panahon ngayon...

High octane shouldn't hurt an engine.

The only way you can incur engine damage from gasoline is from using ethanol-blends on a non-ethanol compatible engine or by using a gasoline with too little octane for your engine's compression and timing presets.

All that BS service advisers spout about high octane hurting your engine (like with that one lemon Optra unit a few years ago) is pure crap. Unless it's high octane because there's toulene in it or it's race gas... then it's perfectly safe.

Atoy ka na lang dami dun. Or join us * www.clubmazda3.org

Di ko kasi kabisado mga name name ng unleaded, so wherever gas station I go I simply ask for the "pinaka-normal" na unleaded hehehehe

Sarap talaga Mazda3, head turner. Mas lalo na pag wala na door mouldings!

    Hi,

Does anyone here know if the model they are selling in the dealer now is 2007 or 2008 model? Balak po kasi namin bumili ng mazda3. From the posts here, it looks like they are still selling the 2007-released model. Advisable po ba bumili neto or should i wait until they release a newly-facelifted model? Also, anung mga freebies should i insist that they give me? All I could squeeze out of my SA is the 65k discount and the free LTO registration. May nakakuha po ba dito ng free insurance? Or baka may contacts kayo jan ng Mazda SA na makakabigay nung free insurance, pa PM naman.

    Thanks in advance.

It's not just a facelift... it's more along the lines of Honda's midmodel change... it features minor mechanical revisions to the powertrain and suspension.

It's probably worth getting... there might be no more mechanical revisions for the next facelift... not until the next Mazda3 gets released.

    Thanks niky.

I was able to get another 20k discount from my SA. That brings my total discount to P85k + free LTO registration. Hmmm, the only problem now is what color to choose. I'm leaning towards choosing the white. Anyone have any input regarding the color?
