re: antenna: i-unscrew dapat yung OEM antenna para mailagay yung short antenna, otherwise mukhang ewan yung car. hehe

regarding the powerfolding side mirrors and LED signal lights... wala akong alam sir...

Guys meron na ba dito nag paset-up na ng sounds? gusto ko sana lagyan lang ng sub ung mazda 2 ko para may bayo lang pero stock padin ung mga speakers at stock headunit para simple lang. kailangan ko pa kaya ng amp dito? suggestions? thanks

Wow! that's impressive FC . BTW is yours the hatch or the sedan, manual or auto (forgive my ignorance. I don't know if the 1.3 has an auto )?

Mine is a manual 1.3 black sedan. Wala yatang auto na 1.3, puro manual lahat. I once own a mazda 323 previously, very good ang handling lalo na pag curve road, malakas lang kumain ng gas 5 to 8 km/l. Mazda 2 1.3 power is enough for mountainous road , city and highway. I drove my mazda last night sa cebu mountain tops with 4 persons lakas ng makina. Mazda 2 1.3 is indeed a fun to drive car. Very firm lang yong suspension sa lubaklubak pero sa curve very precise yung response ng steering wheel with less body roll.

Would not expect anything less from a car that won the World Car of the Year . From what you said, its good to know the car is not underpowered and with the FC you have I guess you just got yourself a winner . Cheers for the M2!

Was able to test drive the mazda 2 today (1.5 HB AT). I had a blast. I liked how it handled. Power is more than enough to keep a small car with 3 fat guys going. The AT is very predictable unlike the 120hp fiesta so I guess overtaking wont be a problem.

I was surprised that it has stability control too. I like it but being a family man, the dilemma of buying a 2nd hand full size sedan (considering its in good condition - around 550k) vs buying a brand new small subcompact (800k) comes to mind.

i think i'll try to sked a test drive with Mazda Alabang. ano kaya test unit nila?

i know naman me merits and demerits kada oto pero something about the 2 keeps me interested...
