More on the look and feel. It seems better screwed together (though the Mazda2 is very good), but the surfaces feel cheapish in comparison to the Mazda2.
We didn't time the Fiesta around the track. We did back to back drags (no comment) and some slaloms. I did get to push both cars hard (not timed) in various situations, and the feeling I (and other testers) got was that the Mazda2's suspension is looser and less precise. The Mazda2 feels more responsive and lighter (because it is), but at full attack on the racetrack, it's more than likely it will lose to the Fiesta.
