Ang na-experience ko is when breaking from a higher gear pero hindi full stop, tapos tapak sa gas, mabagal mag-accelerate. kailangan ko pang i-force to change gear by releasing then stepping on gas.

Hi peeps, this is the same thing sa Honday City 1.5 na Automatic. Matagal sya mag change gear. Tapos minsan kelangan kong pitik pitikin yung gas para magpalit sya agad ng gear.

*gtrinidad: I think that's the ECU adapting to the driving style of the owner... it tries to be as economical as possible. Try mashing it a bit, the throttle of the mz2 is normally very sensitive to even the slightest change in the pedal

*donthaveemail: the ECU likes staying in the highest gear possible, especially if feather-light yung tapak sa pedal... hence the lag if you depress the pedal slowly

sometimes ours cruises at 4th gear at 40 kph * 1,500 rpm... if the throttle is just tickled.

Now, na-adjust ko na ang driving style ko sa MZ2 and test it sa roxas blvd again and I hit 130kph from p.gil to before malate church.... na feel ko ulit. (ooopss wag gayahin walang trapik at maluwag ang daan)

Even sa trapik di na ko nabibitin...

Nanibago lang talaga ko MZ2...

Anybody here tried H&R springs or Emotion coilovers on their Mazda 2? Really want to lower it. It has such an unsightly gap in the fender well.

di ko pa natry eh..since my parking at the moment will not allow it... sasayad talaga ko.. anyway you may also want to check out maxspeed springs.. cheaper sya.. may mga kilala ko naka m3 nagkabit nyan ok naman daw.. there is a guy in sulit selling some for m2s.

Same here when cold start the rpm peaks 2k. Before ko paandarin wait ko magoff yung oil temperature (color blue sa panel) ba yun?

*oiram666: yep. it idles at around 2k. I let it warm up for around 10-20 seconds before going my way.

sayang lang gas kung hintayin pa bumaba to 750 rpm yung idle...

at the time of our purchase, wala kaming nakuhang cash discount (kakalabas palang ng sedan a few days prior... hehe)

we got mats, tint, and backup sensors for free...

There are probably more freebies now though.

The 1.5 AT gets around 8-10 km/liter in the city and 14-15 in the highway. The 1.3 MT will surely get better figures than that...

got 30k discount when I bought my Mazda2 1.5 HB

Got lto, chattel, tint, mat and backup sensor for free also except for the insurance kumuha ko sa iba na mas mababa ng konti sa kanila.

hmm. if fuel economy is better than the vios 1.3, i would love to buy it. very crucial kasi, i'll be covering around 140kms a day kaya minsan naiisip ko din ung hyundai accent crdi kahit medyo pangit itsura. Hope may mag poposts ng actual fc for the mazda 2 1.3
