Mga bossing, the freakiest thing happened to me this morning. While parking, my 9-month old mz2 flickered the head lights then suddenly shut off the engine. Now I really think there's something wrong about my car which I've been thinking from the past.

UPDATE: the gas smell within the cabin of one of my friend's mz2 was due to an old fuel pump that was left in the trunk

now that's scary. buti hindi to nangyari habang tumatakbo yung kotse nyo...

could be an electrical failure or the ECU going nuts momentarily. have heard of a similar incident regarding a petrol tucson

update us on what the problem is sir, and hopefully the problem can be resolved

I finally got my black m2 sedan dec 30. yipee!

acceleration is really nice and the handling is really good. mejo matagtag nga lang talaga pag lubak. im still adjusting with the 1st gear, nasanay kasi sa malalaking sasakyan kaya namamatayan pako lalo pag paakyat.

ill be posting my fuel consumption later this week

Kukuha sana ako but I really don't need another car now. Pero if Its one of my choices if ever I'll be buying one. Iwas na ako sa black due to maintenance. Grey or Red is good for HB.

pinahiram sa akin ng officemate ko yung ford fiesta 1.6 A/T trend di ako natuwa unlike sa Mazda2 feel mo yung pagiging aggressive ng car.

only "D" and "L" ang choices mo sa shift gear parang bitin...

Sa Mazda2 even 4 speed A/T you have more choices to push the speed of the car. Merong "S", Hold for overtaking di bitin. And last is pagdating sa corner MZ2 pa rin.

Maganda lang talaga ang interior and accessories ng ford fiesta.

Pinahiram ko rin yung MZ2 ko ang comment nila same din ng comment ko. Ang hinabol lang talaga nila sa ford fiesta is the engine. (powershift or dual clutch na)

Opinyon ko lang po ito...

The handling of the Fiesta is actually more competent (proven on the racetrack), but the "feel" of the Mazda2 is much more engaging.

i got the 1.3 mt. i still have to go back to the dealership later for the tint, pila kasi nung dec 30. The car feels really light and quick. so fun and easy to drive. i Hope the FC is okay, yun na lang ang inaantay ko. later this week pako magpa full tank ulit.

immobilizer lang yan mga pre... gusto ko nga pakabit ng alarm sa casa eh.. kaso comedy naman price.. sa totoo lang sobra wala kwenta accessories sa casa.. haayzz.. kung di mahal pang DOM ang dating! lol

The schedules have not permitted it. We can't get them on the same days. I drove them both on the racetrack for another project.

guessing the fiesta went round the track faster then? heehee.

sir, you've always commented that the interior materials of the mazda2 is a bit better than that of the fiesta. Just wondering if it's from the feel/look of it? (fiesta grainy plastics vs. "elephant skin" mazda2 plastics), or the solidity/thickness?

I saw the display fiesta a couple of months ago, and all I can really comment about it was the doors sound a bit tinnier than that of the 2, and that the center console space is just 2 cupholders... everything else was more or less better. ford just put in alot of creature comforts in the cabin for their supermini

just saw the cover of the january topgear ph issue, there's a comparo there. hehe

to mz2 drivers: anybody ever determined how much really is "one bar" on the fuel gauge? I think it's somewhere between 4 and 5
