1.5 m/t sedan - 725,000
1.5 a/t sedan - 785,000
1.5 a/t hatch - 795,000
available na daw sa showroom ng mazda makati, saw it yesterday (sunday) sa storage ng mazda makati (back of their showroom).
first sight, mejo not cool. im hoping gaganda siya pag launch i think sa bonifacio high street this thursday (as per mazda makati), and then saturday sa trinoma (as per mazda qc)
why is the mazda2 sedan in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcKakBoarvo look really good? whats the difference with the pictures posted? walang tint?
and since the sedan test drive unit is not yet available, would it be okay to test drive the hatch? pareho lang kaya yun handling and feel ng hatch with the sedan?
As if the competition were any better.
Toyota's plastic on the Vios and Yaris are just as bad. Honda's is the best of the three... but the interior is still plasticky... and the Honda and Toyota cars have flimsier action in their glovebox lids and minor controls.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
- Window tint film, a pretty dark one at that
- Sunroof
- Some kick-*$$ videography
- Check out the J-turn at the end of the video
Otherwise it doesn't look all that different. The wheel wells still look malnourished with just 15" wheels, especially at the rear.
Looks like whenever you turn a hatchback into a sedan by just slapping on a trunk, the rear always becomes slab-sided and heavy. Think GD Honda Jazz into the GD Honda City - very similar to the 2/Demio hatch into the 2/Demio sedan, although the Mazda looks a lot better.
Was referring to the GD Honda City, the older model from 2003-2007. It was a direct "reboot" of the GD Jazz with a boot/trunk gradged on. Not many people liked how it looked, with the tall-boy look and the heavy rear quarter styling that conspires to "shrink" the wheels - in a sense that's where the Mazda2 sedan is similar.
The present GM Honda City is much better - it disguises its Jazz roots and is better styled.![]()
galing lang ako mazda makati, meron maganda duon, hehehe. anyway, took the mazda2 hatch for a test drive ... grabe sarap ng handling! haaayyy, torn between 1.3a honda city and the 1.5 mazda2 sedan
paano ba mag post ng pictures dito? meron ako mga kuha kasi nung sedan.
hehehe hindi ko kinunan, nakakahiya eh.
exterior wise, mas maganda honda city for me. yung maganda lang sa mazda2 yung 1.5 manual transmission na kasing presyo ng 1.3s manual transmission ng honda city, tsaka yung dashboard/instrument panel, mas mukhang buhay at mas mukhang makulit.
ndi naman sya awkward tingnan like nong old city mas maganda ang proportion...pansin ko lang maliit nga para sa body ang gulong...a bigger wheels could do.
