How short of a lifespan are we talking about here sir? Curious.
The osram back label provided some info that indicates the lifespan is shorter than the standard halogen. From the reviews I've read from amazon, some owners say their halogens lasted only for 2 years or less. Of course that will depend on how often the halogen was used.

Mine is roughly around 8 months only. The old stock halogen (osram brand also) installed at the 1st gen Mazda lasted for at least 5 years. I expect the brighter osram halogen's lifespan will be less than that.

Suede for chrome and glass. Ultra for paint and trim.

As in many fun things, make sure there is enough lubrication (shampoo / quick detailer / spray wax)

Use the ultra, it's safer on the sensitive trim. Avoid using too much pressure when wiping.

I usually use an ordinary low-pile microfiber towel for the interior, along with an interior quick detailer. Fold the towel twice, spray the detailer on the towel, wipe on dash/door panels/leather seats, then flip the towel to wipe dry.

Be careful of the clear plastic on the instrument cluster, they also easily scratch. I use high-pile microfiber (like the Ultra) on these sensitive surfaces.

For hard-to-reach areas like the A/C vents, I use a soft, inch-long make-up brush (I don't know what they're called, I stole the brush from the GF) to remove dust.

For interior glass, I use suede microfiber with a non-ammonia spray cleaner (I prefer Stoner's Invisible Glass - no streaks and safe for tint). Same procedure as other interior surfaces: spray the cleaner on 1 side of the towel, wipe the glass, then flip the towel to wipe dry.

    Happy detailing!

You're very much welcome! Check out the Tamang OC Lang thread for tons of useful detailing tips!

And yes, ultra on the infotainment screen to minimize the risk of scratches. Again: lube, lube, lube

Regarding changing the lights to LED, will this void the warranty?

I'm finding the stock headlights to be wanting. Would like something brighter but won't blind incoming cars either.

From what other forum members shared, voiding the warranty shouldn't be an issue as long as the replacements are plug & play.
Usually sir beam pattern and aiming po ang reason why hindi nakakasilaw ang ibang headlight. I have used so many types of bulbs from IPF 185/110w, 75w 5,000k HID. Hindi sila lahat nakakasilaw unless I switch to high beam or i aim it irresponsibly. Modern headlights (projector type) have sharper cutoffs kaya hindi siya nakakasilaw.

I guess it’s true: the more that I drive the 3, the more that I have that modification itch for that beaut [emoji23]. But let’s start with the small things to try to calm myself down hahaha.

Sir travs, I saw in one of your previous posts that you had aluminum pedals including a “dead pedal” for the foot rest. Where did you get the set? [emoji14]

Mga sirs, anyone here had experienced connection or recognition problem with spotify to the infotainment? I just had it this morning and again just a while ago. I’ve been using spotify for awhile already and never experienced any glitch. Only now.

    Any advice, pls. TIA.
