Always good to have info. I still rely more on the fill up method & would always be comfier with an SG2. It reads/clears fault codes & provides you with more vital data.

You can monitor coolant/intake temps, voltage & many others. Time logging laps or speed runs possible, too.
Order directly from Linear Logic. Use coupon code: SKYACTIV upon checkout. You would want a Sky-specific unit....wired a bit differently than others.

Just an update regarding the infotainment hanging (due to mp3files on a USB) and having to restart the car which was discussed on page 59. It actually happened to me again today and this time I tried a procedure I found online. To those who don't know, you can actually restart the infotainment system by holding down NAV->FAV (star)->Volume for about 10 seconds. No need to restart the car. Mine is a 2014 model but I'm sure this is the same for the 2017 facelift as well.
Our brother, go-to-guy, gave you an honest 1st hand ownership view. I second everything with emphasis on the HEART-following part.
On my 4th year of Mown3rship....zero regrets. If I were to choose fr today's choices? I'd still grab the same car.
Good luck, sir!!!![emoji4]

It has been 8 days into my Mown3rship (a V hatchback)!I wish to share what I've experienced so far, but consider this the first part in the meantime:
1. My unit had 26.8 kilometers on the odometer when I got to hop in. My fiancee and I had to wait for hours to receive the unit -- fresh from the warehouse.
2. We've both driven it on NLEX. It certainly has minimal NVH, maybe also because we've turned the infotainment unit on (bluetooth) to volume level 25. Side note: the Commander Control is something you'd think you don't need! When I drove my Forester to Laguna yesterday, I was looking for my M3's Commander Control! Haha!
3. When I arrived home, I noticed it's wearing Bridgestone Turanzas. I thought the OEM tires are Toyos. I told jut703 I'm thinking twice about buying 2nd-hand 18s but with brand new R18s -- this is because I love the ride comfort!
4. Since I arrived at night, I got to observe the lights. Headlights are white-yellowish, fog lights are clear white. It's good that there's a manual headlight level adjustment.
5. I absolutely love the M3's fuel economy app! I'll be knowing its accuracy maybe later if I get to refuel. I might not because I have a week-long Taiwan trip.
This is all for now para di mahaba, hehe. I'll post my other observations when I find time
I hope this helps prospective buyers out there.
Very keen & technical![emoji851]
The BN is refined compared to our leaner pre-FL BM. Having the 1.5, I subscribe to Mazda's bias towards lightening than carrying sound deadening's dead weight. Engine roar & NVH have always been music to my ears.[emoji16]

I had the same dilemma since i have a 3yr old but after test driving the M3 with my wife, we immediately made the choice to get one.
We will get the unit hopefully by the end of October pa so i cant share any actual experience yet. But test driving it with the wife really made it easier for us to decide. [emoji106]
I'll be sure to share first hand experience in this thread after a few miles in. [emoji12]

Maybe I don't have sports mode so I find the manual mode very challenging. Though I may still prefer manual over sports mode just for the powerband's sake.
