Plus it has added sports mode, back-up camera, G-vector, among the others compared to the model year before.

Thinking if getting this (M3 1.5L Sedan) rather than the Civic 1.8E because after testing I just fell in love with handling, Skyactive + Youjin 3... But.. Worried about resale value.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi All [emoji3]

May I know how you clean the leather dashboard of our M3s?

Dealer delivered the car with slight stains on the passenger side dash. Looks like water marks. [emoji30]

It's the tinter who left the stain ... a lot of tinters are not careful ... they are also the ones who scratch your dashboard and sometimes your paint ... many are not careful with their cutters ...

It might help better if you can share a pic of your concern. Who knows, all you need might be some PDR & rubbing compound.

How's the AC? I test drove the CX3 and I find the AC not as cold even if it's in the 18C temp. It might be the summer or probably the i-Stop?

Mazda A/C is pretty good. Mine is set around 23℃ & sometimes close the driver vent....to think my cars are fishbowled/tintless. If you want more efficient AC on any car, get the highest heat rejection tint from brands like V-kool...check their VK series.

Whoah!!!! Scarlet Snow's so pretty, doc! Grats!!!
On chin trouble, this might make it less painful...

ID the likely scrape points. Clean those areas under thoroughly, then final rub w/ moisturizer-free isopropyl alcohol. Overlay the 3M Tub & Shower Tread on those areas. Make em as stealth as possible. Should these patches eventually get scuffed, rinse & repeat.
I've long used that product for scuff protection on step boards & sills. It's tough & when stuck properly, they cling well. Look at my hobo application of this as scuff plates...

Hope this helps, doc! Happy Motorin'!!!!

    Thank you for the advice!!

Should I sand them down first? or just clean them thoroughly then apply the shower tread?

Sanding on the underbelly? Only necessary if the rough patches have ridges that will compromise adhesion. Otherwise, it'll only require some thorough cleaning & iso alcohol(no moisturizer) rub down prior to sticking, doc.

    Hi,

My 2017 M3 1.5 has no lining under the hood when it was delivered. Is it the same with your 1.5s?

You mean hood insulator? Yup for some reason the M3 does not come with it (mine is a 2016 1.5). Cost cutting perhaps on Berjaya's part? May abang though so when you buy one (hood insulator), swak siya.
